摘要： Methods and systems are provided for presenting information on a display device associated with an aircraft. A method comprises displaying a navigational map in a viewing area on the display device with initial display settings, identifying selection of a first category of information, and identifying content associated with the first category resulting in a first set of content. The method further comprises automatically updating display settings for the navigational map in response to identifying selection of the first category, wherein the display settings are updated based on the first set of content. The method further comprises displaying the first set of content on the navigational map based on the updated display settings.

The method comprises receiving departure information associated with a runway having a departure end, parsing the departure information to determine a presence of an obstacle associated with the runway, determining a location of the obstacle relative to the departure end of the runway, and displaying a graphical representation of the runway and a graphical representation of the obstacle in the location relative to the departure end of the runway.

One system includes memory configured to store schematic data representing a schematic of the vehicle and a processor coupled to the memory and configured to execute the schematic data. The system further includes a display coupled to the processor and configured to output an image of the schematic, the image providing a transparent direct view of the vehicle and the systems. One method includes the steps of generating an image representing a schematic of the vehicle and the systems, the image providing a transparent direct view of the vehicle and the systems and selectively rotating the image such that a user is capable of viewing the vehicle and the systems from a plurality of angles. Also provided are machine-readable mediums including instructions for executing the above method.

The processor is configured to obtain the procedure from the data storage unit, to receive an input from the input unit, and to control the display unit to display the procedure as a vertical profile having a compressed portion and an expanded portion, the expanded portion corresponding to the input.

A method comprises displaying a graphical representation of a first sector on a display device associated with the aircraft. The first sector corresponds to a geographic area having a first minimum altitude criterion. If a current altitude of the aircraft is below the first minimum altitude criterion, the method continues by displaying the graphical representation of the first sector using a first visually distinguishing characteristic chosen to indicate that the aircraft is below the designated altitude level for the first sector.
