    摘要: Unwanted electromagnetic waves are eliminated in a frequency output circuit comprising an open-collector output terminal whereby radio noise can be reduced. A frequency output circuit 10 comprises an open-collector transistor Q4 with an open-collector output terminal connected to a pull-up resistor Rf connected to an external power supply Vex. A current limiting circuit 16 limits a current through the output terminal such that a high potential and a low potential of the output waveform of a frequency signal outputted by an output circuit 12 are smoothly switched. The current limiting circuit 16 is formed by a differential pair circuit of transistors Q1 and Q2 each with a resistor provided in the emitter thereof, and a current mirror circuit comprising an open-collector transistor, for example.

    摘要: An image-forming device which is equipped with an image-holding member, an exposure section provided with plural light-emitting portions arranged in a first direction, a movement section that relatively moves the exposure section and the image-holding member in a second direction that intersects with the first direction, and a light-emission control section. The light-emission control section causes the plural light-emitting portions to periodically emit light in accordance with image data representing an image that is to be formed on the image-holding member, to form the image on the image-holding member. The light-emission control section varies a light-emission period during formation of the image, so as to correct for periodic fluctuations within the image of at least one of density and magnification ratio in the second direction.

    摘要: The time it takes for a hot-wire airflow meter to begin to operate normally upon startup of an automobile is reduced. A heat-generating resistor Rh for measuring airflow rate, a temperature-compensating resistor Rc, and a resistor R1 for detecting the current through the heat-generating resistor are connected in parallel. A differential voltage between a power supply voltage Vb and the voltage across the emitter-collector junction of transistors Q1, Q2, or Q3 is applied to each of the heat-generating resistor Rh, temperature-compensating resistor Rc, and current-detecting resistor R1. The transistors Q1, Q2, and Q3 form a current mirror circuit 20, by which the ratio of currents through the heat-generating resistor Rh, temperature-compensating resistor Rc, and current-detecting resistor R1 is determined. The current ratio is maintained to be a predetermined ratio even if the heating current is controlled by an operational amplifier 21 due to an increase or decrease in airflow rate.

The disk drive apparatus further has a drive voltage controlling unit for controlling, in accordance with the edge detection signal XEG, the maximum value of a drive voltage VS for driving said motor. This arrangement implements optimal motor control, while reducing circuit scale and cost and, at the same time, enhancing adaptability of the disk drive apparatus.
