    摘要: The novel thermoplastic elastomer composition of the present invention, which comprises an isobutylene block copolymer (A) containing a polymer block composed predominantly of isobutylene and a polymer block composed predominantly of an aromatic vinyl compound and an alkenyl-terminated isobutylene polymer (B), is highly flexible, and satisfactory in good moldability, rubber-like characteristics, mechanical strengths, permanent compression set characteristics and vibration damping properties.

    摘要: It is an object of the present invention to provide a polymer composition including a polymer produced by cationic polymerization in which the composition does not liberate a chlorine component by heating, which prevent processing apparatus, driers, etc. from corroding, and which is odorless and safe. The object is achieved by a polymer composition obtained by adding a double salt containing magnesium and aluminum as metal atoms to a polymer containing chlorine atoms produced by polymerizing cationically polymerizable monomers with an initiator in the presence of a Lewis acid.

    摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a process for producing an isobutylene block copolymer, which process can provide a resin having a low content of a catalyst residue and high transparency. The object can be achieved by a process for producing an isobutylene block copolymer by living cationic polymerization using a Lewis acid, wherein, for removing the Lewis acid from a solution after the polymerization, the solution is charged into and mixed with water in which a nonionic surfactant with an HLB of 10 or less is contained in an amount of 0.01 to 0.5 part by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the isobutylene block copolymer.
