A system and method for preventing click fraud and/or determining invalid clicks are provided to measure click related data, decide according to target URL defined conditions whether to present an Intelligent interstitial, decide according to target URL defined conditions how to populate the interstitial and then measure Search user interaction with the interstitial. Other embodiments use target URL defined conditions of interstitial interaction to determine click validity and monetary value and in the event of a valid click continuing to the target URL and optionally measuring on-site behavior. Further embodiments measure data from an original click, observe interstitial behavior and optionally merge target URL website measured behavior into a database providing user data for each individual click. Other embodiments generate reports specific to seeking credits for payments on invalid clicks and other website intelligence. Exemplary embodiments provide for varying implementations, including e.g. implementations through search engines and standalone services.

A portable articulated arm coordinate measurement machine (AACMM) includes a manually positionable articulated arm having opposed first and second ends, the articulated arm including a plurality of connected arm segments, each arm segment including at least one position transducer for producing a position signal resulting in the articulated arm having a plurality of position transducers. The AACMM also includes a base section connected to the second end; and a probe assembly connected to the first end, the probe assembly having a probe end, an inner core, and a handle; wherein the probe end is fixed with respect to the inner core, the handle is configured to rotate about the inner core, and the probe end is configured to measure a three-dimensional coordinate of a point in space.

A vacuum support includes a vacuum plate having a top surface and a bottom surface, the vacuum plate having a mechanical stop extending from the bottom surface; an elastomeric seal extending along a periphery of the bottom surface, the vacuum plate and the elastomeric seal defining a vacuum space; and a vacuum source in communication with the vacuum space. Upon attaching the vacuum plate to a mounting surface by reducing pressure in the vacuum space, the stop is in engagement with the mounting surface.

An optical camera three-dimensional coordinate measuring system for use with objects to be measured is described. The system may include a compact, easily moveable, and rotatable, target of known dimensions comprising a spherical surface to be placed in contact with the object to be measured at different points along the object to be measured thereby eliminating the necessity of using a larger extended probe contact tip extending from the target to the object to be measured. At least one or more light emitting source may be located in a known position in the target such as the center of the spherical surface for example. At least two cameras located at different and known coordinate locations for receiving light from the light emitting source from different optical perspectives may be included. The position in three dimensional coordinates of the object to be measured is computed from the images taken by the cameras.

A method for improving the measurement accuracy of a portable coordinate measurement machine which comprises an articulated arm having jointed arm segments is presented. This method includes sensing deformation of a portion of the articulated arm when the arm is placed under a load, this deformation causing an error in the measurement made by the CMM, and correcting such error in response to the sensed deformation.
