    摘要： The circuit for controlling the power supplied to a load from an alternating source in which a silicon control rectifier is connected in series with the source and the load. The particular silicon control rectifier used is one in which the impedance between the cathode and the gate is sufficiently high so that a simple RC firing circuit can be connected to the gate and the capacitor charged periodically to a value sufficient to effect conduction of the SCR.

    摘要： The actuator of the slide switch is associated with contact means for opening and closing the same when the actuator is moved back and forth along a first path. The actuator includes an abutment surface arranged for abutting engagement with a fixed abutment surface, the latter being contained in a plane perpendicular to the first path. The actuator is mounted by support means including yieldable means permitting movement of the actuator back and forth along a path contained in said plane thereby to disengage the abutment surfaces for thereafter permitting movement of the actuator along the first path.

    摘要： A shank has a support disk concentrically secured thereto. The support disk includes three radially extending slots and a pair of integral ribs adjacent each slot, each pair of ribs being disposed one on each side of the associated slot in longitudinal relationship therewith. A one-piece cutting member is mounted in each slot and includes support arms in sliding engagement with the ribs. An adjustment disk is concentrically mounted on the shank for rotation relative thereto; this disk includes arcuate slots each of which receives a projection on one of the cutting members. Movement of the adjustment disk provides for the simultaneous and equal radial movement of the cutting members. Clamping means are provided for releasably holding the cutting members in their selected positions.
