摘要： This invention provides a transdermal patch comprising a) a backing layer; b) a liner; c) optionally, a highly porous membrane; and d) a pharmaceutical composition comprising: (i) optionally, a pressure sensitive adhesive in an amount of up to about 95 wt % of the pharmaceutical composition, (ii) laquinimod in an amount of about 0.1-20 wt % of the pharmaceutical composition, and (iii) optionally, one or more permeation enhancers in a total amount of up to about 70 wt % of the pharmaceutical composition. This invention also provides a method for delivering laquinimod across the skin of the subject and for treating a human subject afflicted with a form of multiple sclerosis comprising administering to the skin of the subject a transdermal patch as described herein. This invention further provides a transdermal patch as described herein for use in treating a human subject afflicted with a form of multiple sclerosis.

摘要： The subject invention provides an oral patch comprising: a) a liner; and b) a film composition thereon, the film composition comprising (i) laquinimod in an amount of about 0.1%-20% by weight of the film composition, and (ii) one or more film forming agents in a total amount of about 40%-90% by weight of the film composition. The subject invention also provides a method for delivering laquinimod across the oral mucosa of a subject, or for treating a human subject afflicted with a form of multiple sclerosis, comprising periodically administering to the human subject an oral patch as described herein. The subject invention also provides an oral patch as described herein for use in treating a human subject afflicted with a form of multiple sclerosis.
