摘要: A wheel balance weight including a plurality of weight bodies of at least one kind and an adhesive double-coated tape. Each of the plurality of weight bodies is made from a metal other than lead and the side surfaces of adjacent weight body are tapered. The balance weight may include one or more weight bodies each having a predetermined weight of W and W/n. The balance weight may include one or more weight bodies each having a predetermined weight of W and a summation of W/n and W. A method of manufacturing a balance weight includes: producing a bar material having tapered surfaces at opposite sides, cutting the bar material into a plurality of weight bodies, and attaching the plurality of weight bodies to an adhesive double-coated tape. Alternately, a method of manufacturing a balance weight may include: producing a bar material, punching the bar material by a punch and a die so that cut planes are tapered thereby manufacturing a plurality of weight bodies, and attaching the plurality of weight bodies to an adhesive double-coated tape.

摘要: An axial force control nut assembly 10 includes a seat member 11, a fastening nut 12 rotatable relative to the seat member and a ring assembly 13 disposed between the seat member and the fastening nut. The ring assembly 13 can include one or more rings. At least one of the rings is an axial force control ring 20 is freely rotatable before a bolt axial force reaches the proper axial force and is restricted in rotation after the bolt axial force is equal to or greater than proper axial force. Alternatively or in addition, the ring assembly 13 can include an elastic deformation ring 21. A gap is defined between a radially outer portion of the elastic deformation ring 21 and the seat member 11 before the bolt axial force reaches the proper axial force. The gap between the radially outer portion of the elastic deformation ring 21 and the seat member 11 becomes zero after the bolt axial force is equal to or greater than the proper axial force.

The three strengthening processes include forging a portion of the cast wheel between adjacent boltholes, burnishing a nut seat of the cast wheel, and shot blasting a hub coupling surface of the cast wheel.

摘要: A balance weight for a two-wheeled vehicle includes a weight made from iron and a clip made from spring steel. The weight includes a first axial end, a second, opposite axial end, a transversely extending intermediate surface, and a first laterally extending groove for holding the clip therein having a groove bottom portion and a groove inlet portion which is smaller in width than the groove bottom portion. The clip includes a pair of arms, a connecting portion, an engaging portion formed in the connecting portion, a bent portion bent from the connected portion toward a space between the pair of arms, and an obliquely extending portion extending obliquely in a direction away from the transversely extending intermediate surface of the weight.

摘要: A wheel balance weight is made from ductile cast iron and is formed by casting. The wheel balance weight includes a weight body accurately extending along a flange of a wheel and a clip coupled to the weight body. The weight body includes a groove at a longitudinally central portion of the weight body. The clip is fit into the groove and is fixed to the weight body by caulking the width sides of the groove. The weight body may have a pillar at a bottom surface of the groove and a clip may have an aperture for accommodating the pillar pass through. By caulking a head of the pillar after letting the pillar pass through the aperture of the clip, coupling of the weight body with the clip is strengthened.

摘要: A balance weight for a wheel of a two-wheel vehicle includes a weight body made from metal other than lead and a clip made from spring steel. The weight body includes a U-shaped transverse cross-section and a groove for mounting the clip therein. The weight body further includes a groove bottom wall and a pair of groove side walls connected to opposite width ends of the groove bottom wall. The clip includes a bottom portion and a pair of arms connected to opposite width ends of the bottom portion of the clip. The clip is mounted to the groove bottom wall of the weight body with the bottom portion of the clip contacting closely to the groove bottom wall of the weight body. The clip and the weight body are coupled to each other by a mechanical coupling. The coupling may be replaced by a local welding.
