    摘要: An inside diameter machining method for machining inside a workpiece uses a turning tool utilized within a main body in the shape of a bar with a hook-shaped top end portion which has a cutting portion. When the machining diameter of the portion to be machined inside the workpiece is bigger than the workpiece's tool insertion hole, the workpiece interferes with the tool when the turning tool's top end portion is moved linearly. To overcome the interference, moving the turning tool's top end portion in two axial directions orthogonal to each other and in a rotational direction with a third axial direction orthogonal to the other two axial directions as its center permits the top end portion to be inserted into the tool insertion hole. The turning tool's cutting portion is then positioned at the portion to be machined inside the workpiece. Turning machining subsequently can be commenced.

    摘要: A machining tool is provided with an electric discharge truing/dressing apparatus comprising a spindle stock for containing and supporting a workpiece spindle which is driven for rotation while holding a workpiece or an electrode; a tool rest which moves parallel and perpendicular to the spindle of the spindle stock and holds an electrode machining tool and a grinding wheel; a feed electricity means disposed between a workpiece supporting portion of the spindle and the tool rest; a magazine disposed at an outside area of a machining area of the tool rest and adapted to store the workpiece and the electrode; and a loading device disposed between the magazine and the spindle. The grinding wheel on the tool rest is subjected to truing/dressing by feeding the electrode from the magazine to the spindle stock.

    摘要: A composite machining lathe having a tool holder base movable in the direction of the axis of the spindle and a tool magazine. The tool magazine has a continuous elongated flexible tool carrier adapted to run along a path having a curved section. A plurality of tools are carried by the tool carrier in such a manner that the tools on the portion of the tool carrier in the curved section of the path are selectively engageable with a head bore formed in the tool holder base. The tool magazine is mounted such as to be movable together with the tool holder base in synchronism in the direction of axis of the spindle and in the direction perpendicular to the axis of the spindle. The tool holder base is mounted in such a manner that it is movable to and from a retracted position relatively to the tool magazine. Tool holding means are provided on the tool holder base for holding the tools on the tool carrier. The selected tool to be used in the machining is moved to the curved section of the path of the tool carrier where the distance between adjacent tools is increased to avoid any interference between adjacent tools, while other tools are densely arranged on the straight portion of the tool carrier. The number of tools employed can be increased by the use of a supplementary tool magazine storing a number of tools.
