摘要: A diamond abrasive recovery method in which diamond abrasive is recovered from polishing material slurry including diamond abrasive used for polishing a polishing target mainly composed of silicon. The method comprises (1) recovering polishing material slurry including the used diamond abrasive; (2) adding inorganic salt including a metallic element which is to be a divalent or trivalent cation to the recovered polishing material slurry to aggregate the diamond abrasive and separating a supernatant liquid from a diamond abrasive included dispersion medium; and (3) extracting diamond abrasive from the separated diamond abrasive included dispersion medium using a low polarity dispersion medium.

摘要: A glass treatment apparatus, in one example, can include a fluid dispensing device configured to dispense a substantially laminar flow of a fluid film. In another example, a shroud substantially circumscribes an outer peripheral surface of a working wheel. The shroud includes a slot configured to receive an edge portion of a glass sheet. Methods of treating glass, in one example, include the step of dispensing a substantially laminar flow of a fluid film along a fluid plane to subsequently land on a first side of a glass sheet. In further examples, a fluid is passed over an inner surface of a shroud to carry away machined particles from a glass sheet. In still further examples, an outer peripheral surface of a working wheel is impacted with a fluid stream to clean the working wheel from glass particles generated when machining an edge of the glass sheet.

摘要: A grinding device includes a fixed barrel, a moving barrel, a grinding plate, and an actuator. The fixed barrel defines a chamber and includes a number of inner surfaces substantially parallel to a central axis, each of which defines a holding groove therein for holding a workpiece. The moving barrel is received in the chamber and includes a side surface substantially parallel to the central axis and defines an installation groove. The grinding plate is fixedly installed in the installation groove. The actuator is configured for driving the moving barrel to spin and move back and forth along the central axis, and driving the moving barrel to move towards a workpiece so that a surface of the workpiece is grinded into a desired arc surface by the grinding plate, and driving the moving barrel to move towards another workpiece after the desired arc surface of the workpiece is obtained.

The cleaning assembly is situated under the fixed barrel for cleaning the workpieces.

摘要: A continuous flow recirculating jet machining system incorporates a dynamic particle separator downstream of the fluid collection reservoir, for directing the water or other liquid in a serpentine path to promote separation of larger-diameter particulates. A filter bank downstream of the dynamic separator removes fine particles in several stages, providing several alternative fluid flow paths at each stage to facilitate filter replacement and other maintenance at each stage without interrupting system operation. The system further can incorporate a settlement tank between the dynamic separator and the filter bank to separate larger and intermediate sized particles upstream of the filter bank.
