    摘要: The image heating apparatus for heating an image formed on a recording medium has an endless belt with a base layer made of a metal material; a heater that contacts with an inner surface of the endless belt; and a backup member that forms a nip portion together with the heater through the endless belt. The image formed on the recording medium is heated while being pinched and conveyed in the nip portion. An end surface of the base layer includes a plane region and a curved surface region. When the thickness of the base layer is t, the width of the plane region in a thickness direction of the base layer is h, and the flatness ratio H of the end surface of the base layer is defined as h/t, the flatness ratio H satisfies 50%≦H≦90%.

    摘要: An unlock control device has an unlocking mechanism to unlock an opening and closing member on the assumption that a radio signal transmitted by a legitimate portable transmitter has been received. A key cylinder selectively takes one of an unlock position and a lock position by an insertion of a legitimate key, the unlock position for permitting unlocking the opening and closing member, the lock position for limiting unlocking the opening and closing member. A position detector detects a selected position of the key cylinder. A control part limits unlocking by the unlocking mechanism when the selected position detected by the position detector is the lock position.

    摘要: An acceleration detector comprising a rotor rotatably supported within a housing and rotating against the urging force of a torsion spring based on acceleration, a pair of contact terminals contacting each other to be in an electrically connected state by rotation of the rotor at an inner end portion provided within the housing, and a supporting portion integrally formed with the rotor and supporting the torsion spring. The supporting portion is displaced by a predetermined amount in a predetermined direction from the rotary center of the rotor so that the spring effect center when torque is exerted on the torsion spring by rotation of the rotor substantially corresponds to the rotary center of the rotor. This construction of the acceleration detector produces the desired performance approximating the design value in an acceleration detector.

The determination of abnormality is performed based on a detected temperature of the air temperature sensor when it is determined that the engine is in a sufficiently warmed state and when it is determined that the vehicle is stopped. The determination may be performed based on a temperature detected by the air temperature sensor during a predetermined period after a start of the engine when the start of the engine is detected and when it is determined that the engine is in the sufficiently warmed state. Additionally, the determination may be performed based on a temperature detected by the air temperature sensor after detecting a start of a cooling fan.
