    摘要: An event-triggered pairing mechanism allows pairing wireless devices having short range interfaces (e.g., Bluetooth devices) by bumping the wireless devices together. A wireless device being paired with a connecting device detects a bump event; exchanges time information about the bump event with the connecting device; authenticates the connecting device based on the exchanged time information; and allows exchange of user data with the connecting device based on verification of the exchanged time information. Once the devices are paired, user content can be securely exchanged between the devices.

The controller configures the haptic transducers to momentarily vibrate the display. A pair of sensors disposed on the display detects variations caused by the user touch in the vibrations.     摘要: Methods and apparatus for processing received signals in a multi-carrier system are disclosed. An exemplary method includes estimating one or more first propagation channel coefficients based on a training sequence in each of one or more first slots received over a first radio channel, equalizing signal samples from one or more second slots received over a second radio channel immediately frequency-adjacent to the first radio channel, using the first propagation channel coefficients, and demodulating user data bits from the equalized signal samples. In some embodiments, the training sequence is located at a fixed position in each of the one or more first slots and user data bits are demodulated from a directly corresponding position in each of the second slots. Improved data rates are thus achieved by constraining radio carriers in a multi-carrier system to frequency-adjacent channels and eliminating training symbols from one of the signals.

The user state file is configured to be accessed by the user in both the real world and the virtual world.

The device contains also a shared processor used by the positioning function and other functions of the device, such as a mobile radio-communication function. Since the received signal need not be stored, the memory requirements of the positioning function are significantly reduced if aiding data is available.
