摘要: A computer system printing an image using an image printing unit, which prints the image read from an external memory card, and a personal computer with a monitor connected to the image printing unit. If the memory card with the image data has been inserted into the image printing unit and the image printing unit has been connected to the personal computer, read image data including an image number and a user selected image number are transmitted to the personal computer for displaying on the monitor. The image printing unit prints the displayed image data corresponding to the user selected image number in response to a user print request at the image printing unit.

摘要: In order to prepare an alkaline expansive core-shell emulsion resin composition applicable to an aqueous base coat paint composition for an automobile using a urethane aqueous dispersion as an emulsifying agent, first, anionic urethane aqueous dispersion having an acid value of about 50-150 mgKOH/g is prepared. Then, an alkaline expansive core-shell emulsion resin is prepared by using the urethane aqueous dispersion as an emulsifying agent. Flowing or stain after coating may be prevented when using a paint composition prepared by using thus prepared emulsion resin. Water-resistance of a coating layer and alignment of metallic particles are improved.

摘要: A water-borne resin composition for polyolefin is obtained by graft polymerizing polypropylene chloride resin having a chlorine degree of about 10-40% and an acryl monomer. First, polypropylene chloride resin solution is prepared by mixing about 5-30 parts by weight of polypropylene chloride resin having a chlorine degree of about 10-40 and about 5-30 parts by weight of a hydrophilic solvent. Then, an acryl monomer solution is prepared by mixing about 70-95 parts by weight of an acryl monomer, a solvent and an initiator. The acryl monomer solution is dropped into the polypropylene resin solution at a temperature of about 80-130° C. and thus obtained product is neutralized and diluted. The composition has a good adhesiveness onto polyolefin, so that the composition may be applied as a water-borne paint composition for polyolefin-based substrate.

摘要: Disclosed are an inkjet multifunction device having a function of attempting to correct malfunctioning nozzles. The inkjet multifunction device includes a printing unit for printing a test pattern, a scanner for scanning the printed test pattern, and a control unit for determining whether respective nozzles in the printing unit malfunction based on the scanned test pattern. The control unit controls the printing unit in order for the nozzles determined as malfunctioned to perform spitting. The determination on whether the nozzles malfunction and the purging of the nozzles are repeatedly performed by the predetermined number of times, and the test step stops if it is determined that all the nozzles normally operate after the repetition operation. Paper and ink can be saved since the purging is selectively performed only on nozzles deemed to be malfunctioning, and meaningless testing and purging operations are prevented from occurring in the case of where there is an absence of malfunctioning nozzles.

摘要: A method for efficiently compensating for malfunctioning nozzles in a printhead. A print order is input, malfunctioning nozzles on a printhead are identified, and, in the case malfunctioning nozzles are present, compensation printing occurs to optimize print quality. The detecting of malfunctioning nozzles includes printing a test pattern, scanning the test pattern, comparing the scanned test pattern to an ideal test pattern, and then identifying the locations of malfunctioning nozzles. In the case that only one nozzle is malfunctioning, the number of nozzles used to scan a line of print is reduced by two so that compensation printing can correct two lines of print with one single swath.
