    摘要: A drive train for a printer is disclosed that provides and maintains a desired tension in the ribbon during transfer of the ribbon between a supply spool and a take-up spool. The drive train is configured to pre-tension the ribbon proximate the driven spool prior to driving the drive roller. During operation, the drive train provides and maintains the requisite tension in the ribbon proximate the driven spool with use of a slip-overdrive assembly. Additionally, the drive train induces a drag on the spool from which ribbon is being unwound with the use of a drag-overrun assembly.

    摘要: A printer is disclosed for printing on media. The printer includes a platen roller, a print head, and a media feed roller. The print head is supported by an arm. The arm is actuatable between an activated position in which the print head is urged toward the platen roller to provide a force therebetween and a deactivated position in which the print head is moved away from the platen roller. A motor is coupled to the arm and the media feed roller. The motor selectively actuates the arm between the activated position and the deactivated position and further drives the media feed roller.

In one form, the print media cutter system incorporates a blade assembly and an anvil assembly that are configured to provide an adjustable gap between a cutting blade and an anvil. Rotation of an adjustment cam adjusts the gap between the cutting blade and the anvil, thereby adjusting a depth of cut made into or through a print media that is fed between the blade assembly and the anvil assembly during operation of the adjustable print media cutter system.

    摘要: An injection-locked frequency divider is provided. The injection-locked frequency divider includes a variable reactance unit, a signal injection unit, a first switch, a second switch, a first transformer, and a second transformer. The variable reactance unit, the first switch, the second switch, the first transformer, and the second transformer form a transformer-based LC-tank oscillator. The signal injection unit receives an injection signal. When the injection-locked frequency divider is in a locked state, the transformer-based LC-tank oscillator outputs a frequency division signal. Employing the feedback action of the first transformer and the second transformer, the present invention not only has a wide locking range but also promotes the realization of the low operating voltage.

The ring oscillator includes a first delay cell and a second delay cell each including differential input terminals and differential output terminals. The first injection unit connected between the differential output terminals of the first delay cell receives and injects a first injection signal to the differential output terminals of the first delay cell.     摘要: An injection locked frequency divider includes a signal injection unit, a Hartley voltage controlled oscillator and a biasing unit. The signal injection unit and the biasing unit output an injection signal to the Hartley voltage controlled oscillator to bias the Hartley voltage controlled oscillator. The Hartley voltage controlled oscillator, which includes a first transistor, a second transistor and a LC tank, receives the injection signal and outputs a differential output signal through a first output terminal and a second output terminal. First terminals of the first and second transistors are respectively coupled to the first and second output terminals, and second terminals of the first and second transistors are coupled to a first node. The LC tank decides a resonant frequency of the Hartley voltage controlled oscillator and serves as a positive feedback circuit for the first and second transistors.
