    摘要： An enzyme composition comprising a D-2-haloalkanoic acid halidohydrolase, bacteria containing said enzyme, a process for the preparation of said enzyme as a cell-free composition and a process in which the enzyme is used to increase the concentration of the L-enantiomer in a mixture of the D- and L-enantiomers of a 2-haloalkanoic acid. Preferably the 2-haloalkanoic acid is 2-bromo- or 2-chloro-propionic acid and the process for increasing the concentration is carried out under anaerobic conditions.

    摘要： A superheterodyne radio receiver which is simultaneously tuned to receive both signals selectively tuned within the general AM broadcast spectrum and signals transmitted at the intermediate frequency, as defined in the receiver. The receiver responds to predetermined coded signals on the broadcast intermediate frequency signal to inhibit the local oscillator in preference to subsequent information broadcast on the intermediate frequency.

    摘要： A display case for receiving a transmitter module and retaining the module in place is used in a security system which detects and monitors fire, burglary, emergencies, appliance failure and the like. Transmitter modules, which are placed at each of the sensors, transmit information to a central monitor. The display case for receiving the transmitter module is designed to present the module in open view so that the user can readily discern that the transmitter is in place. The display case cover includes provision to expose the transmitter while engaging the transmitter body to hold it in place in the display case.
