摘要: A successive sliding exerciser includes a beam, a sliding part which is installed in the beam and is able to slide between two ends of the beam, and two upholders to support the beam on two ends. Each upholder has a stepping slot with two platforms of different height. When using this exerciser, a user grabs the sliding part and slides from the higher end to the lower end. Upon reaching the lower end, the beam is lifted backward and is placed on the higher platform, the other end automatically falls to the lower platform. One end to the other, the two ends of the beam switch their positions of lower end and higher end. Therefore, the user is able to slide back, and the exercising action can continue back and forth.

摘要: An automatic clock phase selector for applying input pulses of selected phases to a counter to enable an AGC gate generator and a burst-gate generator during selected time intervals is described. The automatic clock phase selector includes a generator for generating a train of true clock pulses and a train of complementary clock pulses. A pulse train selector receives these clock pulse trains and a flyback pulse. The pulse train selector is responsive to the time coincidence between a selected edge of the flyback pulse and the positive or negative portion of a true clock pulse for coupling a selected train of clock pulses to the counter. In this manner, the intervals during which the AGC gate generator and the burst-gate generator are enabled track with the occurrence of the selected edge of the flyback pulse.

摘要: A digital vertical synchronization system for a television receiver has a source of locally generated vertical sync pulses coupled to a vertical sweep system, a source of derived vertical sync pulses developed from and in a time relationship with received television signals, and a phasing circuit for testing the time relationship between the derived vertical sync pulses and the locally generated vertical sync pulses. The phasing circuit outputs a signal indicative of the test. The system includes means responsive to the phasing circuit for adjusting the phase of the locally generated vertical sync pulses, and a mode recognition circuit for determining whether the received television signal includes equalizing pulses in a vertical interval. The mode recognition circuit has an output for indicating whether the digital synchronization system should operate in a standard mode wherein the phase of the locally generated vertical sync pulses is adjusted at a first rate or in a nonstandard mode wherein the phase of the locally generated vertical sync pulses is adjusted at a second rate lower than the first rate. An improvement is disclosed which comprises forced means, associated with the mode recognition circuit and responsive to the phasing circuit output signal, for automatically forcing the made recognition circuit output to indicate nonstandard mode.

摘要: A driving system and method for electroluminescence displays having a matrix of electroluminescence elements arrayed in rows and columns with a control circuit for discharging each anode line to a column equalization bus (CEB), includes connecting the charged anode line to the CEB at the end of activation of each anode line. Discharging and subsequent de-activation of the anode line are allowed by charge-sharing with un-activated anode lines that are to be activated for the next row. This is accomplished by connecting the charged anode line to the CEB. In displaying images, anode lines are activated for a number of time periods according to gray scale or color data. Anode lines are consequently de-activated accordingly at different times during a lighting phase for each row display time. When anode lines are discharged through charge sharing on the CEB, a control circuit maintains the voltage on the CEB below a level that may cause inadvertent activation of the de-activated elements.

摘要: A driving system and its corresponding driving scheme for electroluminescence displays that employs the principle of electric charge conservation and recycling in order to reduce switching current requirement against the system power source. In an electroluminescence display of a matrix of electroluminescence elements arrayed in rows and columns, wherein anodes of the electroluminescence elements on each row being electrically connected to a corresponding anode line, and cathodes of the electroluminescence elements on each column being electrically connected to a corresponding cathode line, a driving system for driving said electroluminescence display comprises a row/column control circuit for lighting at least one of said electroluminescence elements by establishing an electrical route across the power source and the ground in a driving scheme. The driving scheme sequentially scans each of the cathode lines while simultaneously drives at least one of the anode lines during each scanning. The control circuit equalizes electric charges in electroluminescence elements in the cathode line being scanned and in an adjoining cathode line to be scanned subsequently by electrically connecting both cathode lines together before the scanning cycles to the adjoining cathode line.

摘要: According to the present invention, a display driver includes a voltage and current source that drive pixels and compensate for parasitic voltage to produce row pixels having intensities that are relatively uncorrelated to the number of “ON” pixels in a given row. The voltage source that provides the pre-charge for each pixel includes a constant value and a compensation voltage determined based on the number of “ON” pixels in each row. The compensation voltage is also determined based on the characteristics of the diodes associated with each pixel and the resistance associated the common ground of each row.
