    摘要: The eccentric assembly includes a tubular section, an eccentric weight, and a counterweight. The eccentric weight is mounted within the tubular section such that as a motor rotates the eccentric assembly, the eccentric weight generates vibrations that are transferred to the drum assembly of the vibration compacting machine. The counterweight is slidably coupled to the eccentric weight and moves between a first position where the counterweight contacts the eccentric weight and a second position where the counterweight contacts the tubular section.

    摘要: An earth compactor is propelled by a hydraulic circuit that includes a first hydraulic motor to drive a drum member and a second hydraulic motor to drive a tractor member mounted on tires, with a traction control system that includes a motor speed sensing device on each hydraulic motor. The speed sensing devices transmit electrical signals to a microcontroller, which compares the speeds and varies the speed of the tires or drum to maintain a preselected ratio between the two, thereby maintaining traction of both members. The compactor includes a ground slope sensing device which generates electrical signals and transmits the signals to the microcontroller such that, whenever the tires become elevated above the drum, the microcontroller lowers the speed of the tires and the drum to prevent tire hop.

    摘要: A device for maintianing a load raising linkage in a raised position. A power member is provided for raising and lowering the linkage. A locking member is pivotally connected to the load raising linkage. The locking member is movable between a lock position and an unlock position. An anchor is connected to the linkage. A releasable member is carried by the locking member. The releasable member engages the anchor and maintains the locking member in the unlock position. Upon pivoting the locking member to the lock position, the releasable member can also engage the power member and maintain the locking member in the lock position.

    摘要: The subassembly comprises a shaft having an eccentrically-weighted portion journalled in a tube which also has an eccentrically-weighted portion. The tube has an abutment therein which prevents full rotation of the tube relative to the shaft. With rotation of the tube in one direction, its abutment, at one side, comes into engagement with the eccentrically-weighted portion of the shaft and, consequently, both portions are in proximity and radially aligned to produce a maximum, oscillatory vibration. Tube rotation in the opposite direction causes the shaft portion to engage the other side of the abutment and, consequently, the portions are in opposite, radial dispositions, and produce a minimum, oscillatory vibration.

    摘要: The eccentric assembly includes a shaft, first and second eccentric weights, and a member. The first and second eccentric weights are rotatably coupled to the shaft such that they generate vibrations which are transferred to the drum assembly of the vibration compacting machine when the shaft is rotated by a motor. The eccentric weights are also coupled to the shaft by the member which moves the eccentric weights between a first position where the eccentric weights are in phase and a second position where the eccentric weights are out-of-phase. When the eccentric weights are in phase the eccentric assembly generates a maximum moment of eccentricity about the shaft. As the rotational speed of the shaft increases to generate higher frequency vibrations, the eccentric weights move more out of phase reducing the moment of eccentricity generated by the rotating shaft.
