    摘要: A protective sealing plug system for towing hitch receivers is provided having a main body for fittingly engaging within the cavity of a towing hitch receiver. The body is formed of a resilient or flexible material that retain oils or other corrosion inhibiting substances and hold them in place against the inside of the female receiver tube. A mechanism for urging the flexible material to compress slightly and, in the process, expand slightly allows the main body to be engaged within the hitch receiver in a manner that both prevents access by outside elements, but also prevents egress of the main body from the hitch receiver until desired by the user. When installed in the female hitch receiver, the expansion of the resilient body will seal the female receiver tube and prevent the ingress of water, dirt or other damaging elements. Retraction of the resilient body will cause the flexible body to retract, allowing removal from the receiver hitch.

    摘要: An ECG monitoring system for ambulatory patients includes a small multi-electrode patch that adhesively attaches to the chest of a patient. A reusable battery-powered ECG monitor clips onto the patch and receives patient electrical signals from the electrodes of the patch. A processor continuously processes received ECG signals and stores the signals in memory in the monitor. Processed ECG signals and cardiac event information are sent wirelessly to a cellphone handset for relay to a monitoring center. The ECG monitor is contained in a watertight sealed case with only electrical contacts on the outside of the case. The electrical contacts electrically couple the ECG monitor to the electrodes of the patch during patient monitoring and to a charger during recharge of the battery.

    摘要: In a data processing system that uses segmentation and paging to access data information such as in a virtual memory machine, the cache store need not be entirely cleared each time an I/O operation is performed or each time the data in the cache has a possibility of being incorrect. With segmentation and paging, only a portion of the cache store need be cleared when a new page is obtained from the virtual memory. The entire cache store is cleared only when a new segment is indicated by the instruction. The cache store is selectively cleared of the information from the page whose data information is no longer needed by addressing each level of an associative tag directory to the cache store. The columns of each level are compared to the page address and if a comparison is signaled that column of the addressed level is cleared by clearing the flag indicating the full status of the column in the addressed level. Each level of the tag directory is addressed.
