Abstract:
An electrostatic coating apparatus includes: a spray gun configured to spray a coating material onto a coating object; a voltage application device configured to apply a high voltage to the spray gun; and a current measurement device configured to measure electric current flowing through the spray gun. When the spray gun, which is in a state of not spraying the coating material onto the coating object and is under application of the high voltage from the voltage application device, is located at a distance from the coating object, the electric current flowing through the spray gun is measured by the current measurement device. A grounded state of the coating object is checked, based on the measured electric current. This shortens the time required for checking the grounded state, while allowing for downsizing and simplified configuration of production equipment and reduction of equipment cost.
Abstract:
In a vehicle body front structure, a collision load is input to an outside protruding portion of a gusset when a portion farther to a vehicle width direction outside than a front side member of a vehicle collides in a frontal collision with a colliding object (here, barrier (B)) such as an oncoming vehicle (i.e., when a so-called small overlap collision occurs). This gusset is fixed in a cross section of a front portion of the front side member, so the collision load is able to be better transmitted to a vehicle width direction inside portion of the front side member. Moreover, this gusset abuts against a front end portion of the outer panel of the front side member from a vehicle front side, so the collision load is also able to be better transmitted to a vehicle width direction outside portion of the front side member.
Abstract:
The hydrogen gas production device includes a water tank in which a hydrogen-side photocatalyst is immersed in water in which a mediator is dispersed and hydrogen gas is generated by irradiation with light, and a mediator is oxidized; a light irradiation means for irradiating the hydrogen side photocatalyst with light; a water tank in which an oxygen-side photocatalyst is immersed in the water in which the mediator is dispersed and oxygen gas is generated by irradiation with light, and a light irradiation means for irradiating the oxygen side photocatalyst with light; and a water circulation unit for circulating water in which a mediator is dispersed between the hydrogen side and the oxygen side water tank, and a light source of the light irradiation means is a light emitting diode.
