    摘要: Provided is a method of driving an information display panel in which: at least two types of display media comprised of particle groups containing chargeable particles are sealed between opposed two substrates, at least one substrate being transparent; a voltage is applied across a pair of opposed pixel electrodes formed such that conductive films provided to the respective substrates face each other to move the display media, thereby displaying an information image, wherein, at the time of deleting the information image displayed on the information display panel, application of an alternating voltage and application of positive or negative voltage two or more cycles in a row are combined to delete the information image. With this method of driving an information display panel, it is possible to sufficiently delete a history of a previously displayed information image without causing the decrease in lifetime of display-rewriting and increase in power consumption.

    摘要: An information display panel wherein display media consists of at least one kind of particle and having optical reflectance and charging characteristics are sealed between two opposed substrates, at least one of which is transparent. The display media, to which an electrostatic field is applied, are made to move so as to display information. A member for securing a gap space is formed in the outer and inner peripheral sides of a sealing agent placement part provided in the outer edge portion of an display area of the panel. The member provided in the outer peripheral side is provided evenly in each side and densely in each corner portion. The member provided in the inner peripheral side is provided with chamfered corners in each corner portion, so that the member for securing the gap space does not contact to the sealing agent placement part.

    摘要: Disclosed is a panel for information display wherein one or more display media are sealed between two opposite substrates at least one of which is transparent and information such as an image is displayed by moving the display media using the electric field generated in the substrates. A multilayer substrate wherein a first plate, a low elasticity layer and a second plate are sequentially arranged is used as at least one of the substrates (as both substrates in the embodiment shown in the drawings) so that stress concentration in a rib bonding portion of a partition wall can be relaxed. Such a panel for information display is improved in the mechanical strength against external forces by using a multilayer substrate having a multilayer structure which includes a buffer layer for relaxing stress concentration.
