摘要: By keeping the imaginary number portion k of the complex index of refraction of the film of the light absorbing layer 3, the mean film thickness dav of the light absorbing layer 3, and the absorbency A related thereto within an appropriate range, the present invention provides an optical information recording medium with good recording sensitivity and playback properties, which makes possible high speed recording by increasing the sensitivity to the recording beam and stable recording with sufficient reflectivity, and which can reduce jitter. In the present invention, 0.13≦A≦0.21 where A (Abs) is the absorbency of the light absorbing layer at the wavelength of the recording beam; and 6.0≦k.dav≦12.0 where k is the imaginary number portion of the complex index of refraction of the film in the light absorbing layer and dav (nm) is the mean film thickness of the light absorbing layer, at the wavelength of the recording beam.

摘要: A drum core for a wire-wound component having a pair of flange parts provided on both ends of an axis core around which a winding wire is wound, with tapered surfaces of roughly conical shape formed on their facing inner surfaces in such a way that the interval of the inner surfaces increases toward the outer sides of the flange parts. The flange parts have roughly a rectangular shape and the sides along which their long side faces contact the tapered surfaces have the curved shapes that convex roughly at the center. The curved shapes make the height of the corners of the flange parts from the reference surface lower than the height of the convex parts of the curved shapes from the reference surface, and the loads received by the wire during winding are reduced as a result.

摘要: One inventive aspect relates to a low back type loop type coil part which may facilitate confirmation of quality of soldering. The loop type coil part comprises a core including a spool arranged vertically to a mounting side and a plate-like flange provided at an end of the spool to come in contact with the mounting side. A coil lead is wound around the spool, and an end of the coil lead is soldered and fixed to a terminal electrode of a bottom surface of the flange. A protruding part is provided at a part of a side surface of the flange in a length direction. A recess is formed in the bottom surface of the flange so as to be in contact with the protruding part of the side surface and a non-protruding part adjacent to the protruding part. The terminal electrode is provided to be continuous across an inner wall surface of the recess, a bottom surface of the protruding part, and a bottom surface of the non-protruding part. Accordingly, by using the protruding size of the flange, the fillet to facilitate confirmation of quality of soldering can be formed without increasing the thickness size of the flange of the core and the height size of the core.

摘要: Provided is a medium for recording optical information and a method for recording optical information that allow recording sensitivity to be increased, and particularly a prescribed recording sensitivity to be maintained together with reflectivity and other playback characteristics during high-speed recording, by employing the temperature dependence of recording sensitivity of the light-absorbing layer instead of the light attenuation coefficient of the light-absorbing layer, and selecting a material which is prone to increased absorption of a laser beam at high temperatures during recording. A distinctive feature is that the absorbance or recording sensitivity of the dye material film used in the medium for recording optical information that has a writable structure is dependent on temperature. Specifically, it was found that the absorption spectrum of the dye material varies at high temperatures, and a relation A2/A1≧1.30 was established. In this relation, A1 (Abs) is an absorbance of the light-absorbing layer at a wavelength of recording light under room-temperature conditions, T (°C.) is a pyrolysis temperature of the light-absorbing layer, and A2 (Abs) is an absorbance at a wavelength of recording light under T−50 (°C.) conditions.
