    摘要: A compact and inexpensive LCD is provided by improving a drive method for compensating a crosstalk using a compensating pulse added to a signal voltage so that a drive IC and a periphery of the LCD panel are reduced in size. Only one of positive and negative compensating pulses is added in accordance with a predetermined period. Alternatively, the two compensating pulses are added at different times from each other in one horizontal scanning period. The compensating pulse preferably has a waveform including low frequency components. A width or a height of the compensating pulse varies in accordance with a location of the signal electrode, display pattern or other factors.

    摘要: A liquid crystal module comprises a liquid crystal panel including mutually orthogonal row electrodes and column electrodes and a liquid crystal layer sealed between the electrodes as a display element, a row electrode driving circuit driving the row electrodes of the liquid crystal panel, and a column electrode driving circuit driving the column electrodes. A detecting electrode detects scanning signals applied to the row and column electrodes of the liquid crystal panel by electrically coupling to the electrodes with electrostatic coupling capacity. A coordinate detecting circuit converts the signals obtained from the detecting electrode into row and column coordinates. A correction arithmetic circuit corrects positional differences by using correction parameters of the device which have been obtained from output values of the coordinate detecting circuit beforehand. The display-integrated coordinate input device improves detection precision at the edges of a matrix panel.

    摘要: In a thermal printing system having an automatic paper feeding mechanism paper may be misfed and become crumpled between one of a pair of spring biased pinch rollers and the platen of the printing machine. A mechanism is provided for automatically releasing pressure between the rollers and the platen, wherein a depression/release lever is provided with a cam disposed between supporting members of the pinch rollers, and the lever is actuated when a frame of the printing machine is raised to provide access to the machine, causing the cam to widen the space between the pinch rollers and the platen so that the crumpled paper can be easily removed.
