Abstract:
A high-efficiency high-quality and safe alkaline cupric chloride etchant for printed circuit board, which includes cupric chloride and a sub-etchant. The sub-etchant contains (in percentage by weight) 10%-30% NH4Cl; 0.0002%-25% carboxylic acid and/or ammonium carboxylate; 0.3%-25% ammonium hydroxide. The etchant is used in connection with an automatic detection and charging control during the etching process in order to keep the concentration of copper ions in the etchant no less than a set value.
Abstract:
Tunable impedance matching networks and tunable diplexer matching systems are provided. A tunable impedance matching network can include an impedance element connected between first and second nodes for communicating signals between the first and second nodes. For example, the impedance element can be a transmission line or an inductor. Further, the matching network can include a first capacitor connected in parallel with the impedance element, wherein the first capacitor is tunable. The matching network can also include a second capacitor comprising first and second terminals. The first terminal of the second capacitor can be connected to the first node. The second terminal of the second capacitor can be connected to a local voltage reference for the first node. A third capacitor comprises first and second terminals. The first terminal of the second capacitor can be connected to the second node. The second and third capacitors can also be tunable.
Abstract:
A cover for a mobile device includes a substrate with a surface including a patterned surface portion and a non-patterned surface portion. An ink coating is formed on the patterned surface portion of the substrate. A metal coating system is electroplated on the non-patterned surface portion of the substrate. The ink coating is recessed relative to the metal coating system.

Abstract:
Systems and methods are provided for personalizing new song suggestions for a user. A plurality of users provides thumbs up and thumbs down ratings for a pair of songs (song A and B). A first aggregate rating for song B is calculated based on ratings given to song A by all of the users that gave a like rating to song A. Similarly, a second aggregate rating is calculated for song B based on ratings given to song B by all users that gave a dislike rating to song A. Then a user that has not previously rated song B, supplies a rating for song A. A prediction is performed of how the user will rate song B based on the user's rating of song A. For example, the first aggregate rating for song B is used if the user rated song A positively.
Abstract:
Methods for evaluating data packets addressed to a wireless communication device are disclosed herein. When in a dormant state, a wireless communication device receives page messages indicating a source of data packets addressed to the wireless communication device and determines whether the data packets represent unwanted traffic. When in an active state, the wireless communication device examines data packets to determine if the received packets represent unwanted traffic, and in response to determining that the traffic is unwanted, the wireless communication device transitions into a dormant state or enters an idle state from which the wireless communication can transition into the dormant state.
Abstract:
A system and method are provided to generate knowledge-based radiological report information via an ontology driven graphical user interface. Even further, a system and method are provided that employ radiological report domain ontology to specify and model a graphical user interface knowledge that is used by the present invention to create a graphical user interface and then to exercise the graphical user interface to generate knowledge-based radiological report information.
Abstract:
Semi-synthetic glycopeptides having antibacterial activity are described. Also described are processes of preparing such semi-synthetic glycopeptides by chemical modification of a glycopeptide (Compound A, Compound B, Compound H or Compound C) or the monosaccharide made by hydrolyzing the disaccharide moiety of the amino acid-4 of the parent glycopeptide in mild acidic medium to give the amino acid-4 monosaccharide; protection of the amino groups in the molecule; and conversion of the acid moiety on the macrocyclic ring of these scaffolds to certain substituted amides. Also included are the process of conversion of the amide group in amino acid-3 on these scaffolds to various acylureas, acylamide, acylsulfonamide, acylsulfonylurea derivatives and aminomethylation with substituent containing sulfonamide or acylsulfonamide group on amino acid-7 through Mannich reaction procedures. Further provided herein are pharmaceutical compositions containing the compounds, and methods of use of the compounds for the treatment and/or prophylaxis of diseases, including bacterial infections.
Abstract:
The present invention describes methods, systems, and data structures to create and search index records within a trace of a packet-based communications link that has been compressed by organizing the data packets according to which flow they belong. Index points are inserted within the compressed flow trace file to create frames and index records are created and saved for each index point. Consequently, searching for a particular data packet does not require sequentially reading the compressed flow trace file, but rather locating the appropriate index record and its corresponding frame in the compressed flow trace file.
Abstract:
Semi-synthetic glycopeptides having antibacterial activity are described, in particular, the semi-synthetic glycopeptides described herein are made by chemical modification of the a glycopeptide (Compound A, Compound B, Compound H or Compound C) or the monosaccharide made by hydrolyzing the disaccharide moiety of the amino acid-4 of the parent glycopeptide in acidic medium to give the amino acid-4 monosaccharide; conversion of the monosaccharide to the amino-sugar derivative; acylation of the amino substituent on the amino acid-4 amino-substituted sugar moiety on these scaffolds with certain acyl groups; conversion of the amide group in amino acid-3 on these scaffolds to various acylamide, acylsulfonamide, acylsulfonylurea derivatives; aminomethylation with substituent containing sulfonamide or acylsulfonamide group on amino acid-7 through Mannich reaction; and conversion of the acid moiety on the macrocyclic ring of these scaffolds to certain substituted amides. Also provided are methods for the synthesis of the compounds, pharmaceutical compositions containing the compounds, and methods of use of the compounds for the treatment and/or prophylaxis of diseases, especially bacterial infections.
