The conductive members are inserted in through holes of the housing, and have motor connection male terminals at tip ends thereof. Motor connection male terminals are accommodated in motor accommodation portions provided in the electric motor. The motor connection female terminals and the motor connection male terminals are engaged for electrical connection.

    摘要: A fluid pressure control unit has a changeover valve and an electromagnetic discharge valve combined with each other so that with the opening and closing of the latter valve, the communication between the inlet leading to the pressure source and the first and second outlets leading to wheel brakes is changed over for normal braking, pressure reduction for antilock control and pressure reincrease. Part of the sleeve of the changeover valve is used as the frame of the discharge valve which functions as a magnetic circuit. This reduces the number of parts, eliminates the need for an O-ring and facilitates maintenance.

    摘要: An improved deceleration-balanced type brake pressure control valve assembly is proposed which balances the input pressure with the output pressure and the control pressure proportional to the deceleration to control the output pressure supplied to the brakes. The control fluid pressure is regulated by a regulator in accordance with the deceleration. A brake fluid pressure detector is provided to detect the increase of the brake fluid pressure, opening a shutoff valve. While not braking, the shutoff valve remains closed, so that the control pressure is kept at zero.

    摘要: An arrangement for preventing the master cylinder of a brake system from getting damaged even if the brake fluid in the master cylinder reservoir is suctioned into the brake circuit during traction control. A wheel brake pressure control valve is provided in the main line. The system also includes a discharged fluid reservoir for storing fluid discharged from the control valve, a pump for returning the fluid in the discharged fluid reservoir into the fluid return point of the main line, a traction control changeover valve for checking any fluid flow from the fluid return point toward the master cylinder, and an intermediate reservoir provided in the supply line branching from the main line and adapted to communicate with the main line during normal braking. The system further includes a relief valve provided in a connecting line branching from the main line to check any fluid flow from the supply line toward the intermediate reservoir during traction control. Another changeover valve is provided to open and close communication between the intermediate reservoir and the discharged fluid reservoir.

    摘要: An antilock modulator can maintain a short brake pedal stroke during normal braking operations, which improves the pedal feeling during antilock control, and can prevent unnecessary increases in the pump discharge pressure. The antilock modulator has a main fluid line connecting the wheel brake to the master cylinder and a line branching from the main fluid line and leading to the discharge end of the hydraulic pump. At the branching point is provided a differential pressure-responsive mechanism which shuts off fluid communication between the master cylinder and the discharge end of the pump when the pressure difference between the wheel brake and the master cylinder exceeds a predetermined value, and otherwise allows fluid communication therebetween.

The flow control valve includes a pressure reducing chamber (115) regularly connected with an outlet port (111) through a passage by way of a fixed orifice (125). An inlet port (110) is normally connected with the outlet port (111) through a small passage. Therefore, even if a spool (116) is fixed in a position closing a large passage, working fluid introduced into the inlet port (110) flows to the outlet port (111) through the small passage, whereby it is possible to apply pressure to a wheel brake without wheel locking.

    摘要: An anti-lock brake control system for an automobile vehicle includes an anti-lock modulator having a single housing structure, which accommodates plural sets of flow control valves and solenoid-operated discharge valves, a plurality of plunger pumps and a plurality of reservoirs. The valves in each set are disposed in line with and in series-connected fashion with each other. The valve sets and an electric motor having an eccentric drive shaft for driving the plunger pumps are disposed on respective sides of the longitudinal axis of the plunger pumps. All of the longitudinal axis of each valve set, that of each plunger pump and that of the eccentric drive shaft are laid perpendicular to one another.
