    摘要: A positive connection plate of a DC motor includes a fitting groove to enable assembling a specific brush holder thereto. The specific brush holder includes a convex part that fits in the fitting groove and a stepped surface having a step at a radially outer side of the convex part, and located at the opposite-core side of its armature from a core-side end surface of the convex part. A space existing in an axial stepped area which is located at the core side from the stepped surface and in which the step is formed is a stepped space. A drawing member is drawn from a position which circumferentially overlaps with the specific brush holder to the outside of a motor case, and is disposed so as to overlap with the stepped space in the axial direction.

    摘要: An end cap assembly for an electric motor has an end cap body and at least two motor terminals. The end cap body has at least two holding structures for respectively holding the at least two motor terminals, each holding structure having at least one holder and a through slot. Each motor terminal has a base portion, a terminal portion and at least one mounting portion. The at least one mounting portion is mounted to the at least one holder of a corresponding holding structure. The terminal portion is inserted in the through slot to electrically connect to a male terminal of an external power supply plug. The terminal portion and the at least one mounting portion integrally extend from the base portion.

    摘要: Detecting a rotation state of a worm wheel side with good accuracy while allowing play between an armature-shaft-side coupling member and a worm-shaft-side coupling member. The armature-shaft-side coupling member is provided together rotatably to the other end of an armature shaft; the worm-shaft-side coupling member is provided together rotatably to one end of a worm shaft; the armature-shaft-side coupling member and the worm-shaft-side coupling member are coupled together rotatably; and a sensor magnet is provided together rotatably to the worm-shaft-side coupling member. Therefore, the rotation state of the worm shaft can be detected with good accuracy. Even if the play is provided between the armature-shaft-side coupling member and the worm-shaft-side coupling member, this play does not affect the accuracy of detection of the rotation state of the worm shaft, thereby bringing no problem regarding accuracy of detection of a rotation state of a worm wheel side.

It has a stator confronting the rotor; brush gear connecting the commutator to motor terminals; first and second bearings for rotatably supporting the rotor, and an oil stopper fitted to the shaft between the commutator and the first bearing for preventing oil migrating along the shaft from the first bearing reaching the commutator. The oil stopper is of high temperature material, preferably a metal such as brass, aluminum and steel.
