摘要： A wave amplitude modulator for modulating a transmitted electromagnetic wave includes one or multiple self-gated capacitively coupled pair(s) of electron layers such as semiconductor or semimetal layers. Two electrical contacts are placed to each layer of electrons of the self-gated pair(s), and a power source is electrically connected to them. The power source, by varying the voltage applied between layers of electrons, tunes the electron density thereof, thereby adjusting the optical conductivity thereof, and the change in the optical conductivity of the layers of electrons causes an amplitude modulation of the transmitted electromagnetic wave passing through the capacitively coupled layers of electrons.

In one aspect, image samples of real rain and associated information are automatically modeled in real-time to generate synthetic rain particles in view of respective scene radiances of target video content frames. The synthetic rain particles are rendered in real-time using pre-computed radiance transfer with uniform random distribution across respective frames of the target video content.

摘要： A MDOF muscle training machine is provided in the present invention. The training machine has multi-degree-of-freedom (MDOF) being able to be set by users to make various cyclic motions with respect to various groups of muscle to be trained. The training machine comprises an adjustable frame and a cyclic motion device. The adjustable frame has MDOF being able to be adjusted with respect to the various cyclic motions. The cyclic motion device is assembled on the adjustable frame. The adjustable frame can be adjusted to decide a specific position of the cyclic motion device with respect to specific groups of muscle. Both arms (legs) of the user are constrained by the cyclic motion device. The user has to coordinate the specific groups of muscle to drive the cyclic motion device.
