    摘要: Loss of Wnt-5a protein expression in breast carcinoma patients is associated with a shorter recurrence-free survival as well as increased motility in mammary cell lines. Based on sequence analysis of Wnt-5a 13 peptide fragments were identified and investigated for their ability to mimic effects of the Wnt-5a protein on mammary cell adhesion and motility. Two of these peptides significantly increased adhesion and impaired the motility of non-tumourigenic breast cancer cell lines, both low in endogenous Wnt-5a protein expression. To identify the shortest possible peptide that still had an anti-motile effect, sequential deletions of two Wnt-5a protein expression. To identify the shortest possible peptide that still had an anti-motile effect, sequential deletions of two amino acids from the N-terminal side of the shorter of these two peptides were performed. The effect on tumour cell adhesion was gradually lost, and when only 6 amino acids remained the effect was not detectable. However, formulation of the N—terminal methionine of this hexapeptide restored its effect on adhesion and reduced tumour cell motility. The novel formyl-Met-Asp-Gly-Cys-Glu-Leu peptide ligand can serve as a lead substance for anti-metastatic treatment in the 50% of human breast cancers where the endogenous expression of Wnt-5a is reduced.

    摘要: An impact position marker for ordinary or simulated shooting from a fire-arm (1) towards a moving target comprises a sensor part (2) with an evaluation unit for the actual position of the target in relation to the fire-arm and a firing detector. The evaluation unit comprises an image taking device (10) with its optical axis directed in parallel with the sighting line of the fire-arm (1), a unit (11) which measures the rotation of the sighting line of the image taking device in at least two planes at an angle to each other and comprises one and the same line coinciding or parallel with the sighting line of the fire-arm. The output signals from the image taking device (10), the rotation-measuring unit (11) and the firing detector (12) are inputted to an evaluation unit (13) which calculates the distance to the target and the position of the point of impact in relation to the target at the calculated impact moment. The result of the measuring is presented on a presentation unit (4) and/or controls an acoustic feed-back signal which assists the shooter during aiming and firing.

    摘要: A retractor reel for vehicle safety belts of the type in which the belt is automatically wound onto a rotatably supported shaft, when the belt is not used, comprises a first locking means and a second locking means, one of which being attached to the support and the other being attached to the rotatable shaft. One of the locking means is movable and arranged to be moved between an idle position, in which it does not engage with the other locking means, and an operative position, in which it engages with the other locking means for locking the shaft. The two locking means are positioned at one end of the rotatable shaft, and two further locking means are positioned at the opposite end of the shaft, where the shaft is supported by a bearing which is arranged to yield, when the shaft is heavily loaded. When the bearing yields, the two further locking means will engage with each other to lock the end of the shaft, so that the shaft will be locked at both ends when heavily loaded. This will increase the strength of the support.

    摘要: The present disclosure relates to a vacuum cleaner comprising an electric motor 3 and a blower producing an air flow through the vacuum cleaner. The electric motor and the blower are placed on a common vertical axis 17. A separator unit 13 is placed laterally with respect to the common axis of the motor and the blower. A bent conduit 19 connects the blower with the separator unit, and one end 21 of the conduit encloses the common vertical axis. The conduit comprises a portion located along the common axis 17 having a double wall forming a closed air pocket 23. This provides damping of noise emitted by the blower/motor and which propagates in the opposite direction of the air flow.
