    摘要： A liquid crystal display apparatus includes a liquid crystal panel; an illumination device that illuminates the liquid crystal panel; a cooler cooling the liquid crystal panel; a first detector detecting a surrounding temperature of the liquid crystal panel; a second detector detecting a surrounding temperature of the cooler; a controller controlling the illumination device and the cooler based on output of the first and the second detector, wherein the controller activates the cooler when the output of the second detector is larger than a second value and the output of the first detector exceeds a first value, and the controller decreases a luminance level of the illumination device without activating the cooler when the output of the second detector is less than the second value and the output of the first detector exceeds a first value.

    摘要： An image display device has: a display 4 for displaying a video image; a backlight 3 for illuminating the display 4; a level detector 6 for detecting level of a video signal; a video signal adjuster 5 for adjusting a video signal to a signal of a level adapted to be displayed by the display 4; and a microcomputer 1, based on a signal from the level detector 6, for decreasing illuminance of the backlight 3 when the level of the video signal is low and increasing illuminance of the backlight 3 when the level of the video signal is high. The microcomputer 1 has a timer function and has a correcting function, when the low level of the video signal detected by the level detector 6 continues more than predetermined time, for increasing one of the level of the video signal and a brightness level of the display 4 by controlling the video signal adjuster 5.

    摘要： A power seat slide device for a motor vehicle comprises a rail unit including a stationary rail mounted to a vehicle floor and a movable rail slidably engaged with the stationary rail. The movable rail carries thereon a seat. A twin gear member is rotatably held by the movable rail. The twin gear member includes a worm gear and a first crossed helical gear. An elongate counterpart structure for the worm gear is possessed by the stationary rail. The counterpart structure extends along the stationary rail and is meshedly engaged with the worm gear, so that rotation of the twin gear member about its axis induces a straight-line movement of the movable rail relative to the stationary rail. An electric motor is held by the movable rail. A speed reduction gear unit is held by the movable rail. The speed reduction gear unit is arranged between the electric motor and the first crossed helical member in such a manner that the twin gear member is rotated by the electric motor through the speed reduction gear unit.

Also provided between the arm and the toothed block is an auxiliary interlocking member, which is responsive to a deformation of the toothed block resulting from impact force applied to the arm for interlocking the device.

The seat slide device is provided with a seat rail connected to the seat which is slidably connected with a floor rail.
