Abstract:
A hub brake for a bicycle mainly comprises a fixed brake disc, axial displacement brake disc and brake member. The axial displacement brake disc is driven by the brake member to yield axial displacement, thus realizing axial hub braking through frictional abutting of the fixed brake disc. As the fixed brake and axial displacement brake disc are both of simplified disc or block structure, the manufacturing process can be streamlined for mass production, while convenient and efficient assembly from one end of the hub is made possible. As for the ringed brake interface formed between the fixed brake disc and axial displacement brake disc, its friction area is not less than that of conventional drum or caliper brake interface. Hence, the hub brake components of the bicycle could be greatly simplified, and the weight and assembly space could be reduced for easier production, convenient assembly and satisfactory braking performance.
Abstract:
A wheel for cycles includes a wheel rim having a number of orifices each formed by a peripheral flange, a number of couplers engaged into the orifices of the wheel rim and each having a screw hole threaded with fasteners. A number of spokes each has one end engaged through the bore of the fasteners and engaged with lock members which may anchor the spokes to the fasteners, and to secure the spokes to the couplers. The ends of the spokes may thus be easily secured to the wheel rim without forming any threaded or screw holes in the wheel rim.
Abstract:
A one-way ratchet unit for a bicycle wheel has first and second meshing parts and an elastic member. The meshing parts are respectively configured on the bicycle wheel and the sprocket driving seat, their first and second one-way ratchets both comprise ratchet tips, ratchet roots and oblique guiding facets. The ratchet tips of the first or second one-way ratchet are configured with at least one wedge on partial positions, and the positions on the ratchet tips of the first or second one-way ratchet not forming the wedges form convex resisting edges. The ratchet roots of the second or first one-way ratchet are configured with wedge avoiding parts on partial positions, so that when the first and second one-way ratchets mesh each other and the resisting edges of the ratchet tips resist against the ratchet roots, said ratchet tips can be aligned and go into the wedge avoiding parts.
Abstract:
The rim spoke positioning pocket is a single metal plate placed in a cylindrical shape. One embodiment is coiled, and another embodiment is an expanded cylinder. A through hole is placed in the center of the positioning pocket, and the bottom has claws that are circular in shape and expandable outward. The inside surface corresponds to the claw shape to received a spoke tip connector, and the top of the positioning pocket is a straight opening. One side of the positioning pocket forms a connecting part by a coiled metal plate. The rim spoke positioning pocket for a bicycle or motorcycle can be made with simple steps and a low cost, which is better for mass production.

Abstract:
The present invention is an environment-friendly inner tube The inner tube is formed by a constituent including a Thermoplastic Elastomer TPE that efficiently improves toughness and oxidation resistance. When the inner tube is penetrated by a sharp article, its gas retaining property postposes air leakage and stiffens the inner tube, thus prolonging service life of the tire. The inner tube is fabricated by an injection molding machine with improved productivity. Thermoplastic Elastomer will not produce toxic substances, and overflow and wastes generated from manufacturing process can be recycled, thus avoiding waste of resources, saving the materials and lowering manufacturing costs with better industrial efficiency.
Abstract:
A structure is designed to fasten spokes with a bicycle wheel rim and is formed of a fastening hole disposed in an inner side of the bicycle wheel rim, a fitting body having a head, a threaded shank, and a through hole extending through the head and the threaded shank which is engaged with a nut. One end of the spoke is fastened with the bicycle wheel rim by a spoke end fastener which is received in the through hole of the fitting body, with the fitting body being fitted into the fastening hole such that the head of the fitting body is located securely in the fastening hole.
Abstract:
A rain shield device includes a housing for attaching onto various vehicles, and a shield extendible out of the housing for shielding the upper portions of the doors of the vehicles and for allowing the drivers and the passengers to easily open or receive the umbrella while boarding or moving out of the vehicles. The shield may be extended out of the housing with two links and two racks and a motor. A shaft is rotatably received in the housing for winding and receiving the shield, and may be rotated relative to the housing by a motor.
Abstract:
A bicycle wheel rim includes two retaining portions and a locating portion. The two retaining portions are formed of a groove for retaining permanently one of two retaining edges of a tubeless tire. The locating portion is formed of two furrows, and a ridge situated between the two furrows which are located in proximity of the grooves of the retaining portions. The furrows are used as temporary dwelling places for locating the two retaining edges of the tubeless tire in the course of the mounting of the tubeless tire on the bicycle wheel rim.
Abstract:
An anti-slip device for a hub of a bicycle is provided for a first engaging element and a second engaging element between a bicycle hub and a chain wheel drive seat of the bicycle. A second engaging element has one side facing the chain wheel drive seat and including indentations equally defined therein. Each indentation has a bottom and a protrusion extending from one end of the bottom, wherein protrusion has a shoulder and a distal end. The chain wheel drive seat has multiple curved control blocks laterally extending therefrom, wherein the multiple curved control blocks are annularly arranged. Each curved control block is movably received in a corresponding one of the indentations and a circle difference is formed between the corresponded curved control block and the indentation.
