    摘要: A fuel vapor processing apparatus includes a case defining therein a flow passage including an adsorption chamber, an adsorption material disposed in the adsorption chamber; and a density gradient filter disposed in the flow passage at a position on an upstream side of the adsorption material with respect to a direction of flow of purge air for desorbing fuel vapor from the adsorption material. The density gradient filter includes a first portion having a first density, a second portion having a second density, and a third portion having a third density. The third portion is positioned on a downstream side of the first portion with respect to the direction of flow of the purge air and the second portion is positioned between the first portion and the third portion. Each of the first density and the third density is higher than the second density.

The filter is loosely fitted within the adsorbent chamber and then welded on the end wall of the adsorbent chamber. The tentative filter engaging projection tentatively holds the filter loosely fitted within the adsorbent chamber in a welding step of the filter.

    摘要: An evaporated fuel treating device lowers the blow-by volume of evaporated fuel emitted to the atmosphere via a casing having an atmospheric port. The casing has in series a first adsorbent chamber housing an adsorbent material, a space chamber not housing an adsorbent material and a second adsorbent chamber housing an adsorbent material. Each of the chambers is positioned beside an adjacent chamber thereof. The first chamber is disposed closest to the atmospheric port among the adsorbent chambers. An end part of the space chamber on a side of the first chamber has a first partition wall having an opening part with a plurality of first openings provided on a top side of the first partition wall. A current plate has one end positioned between the adjacent first openings and a surface and a rear face of the current plate are disposed along the top and bottom direction.
