摘要: A device for the detection of gamma rays presents a high resolution in the three-dimensional position of the impact of the gamma ray within one or more scintillation crystal blocks coupled to an array of photosensors, for the determination of the impact energy of said gamma ray, the determination of the instant in time when said impact occurred, the interaction depth and the determination of the time-of-flight. Advantageously, in said device, the scintillation crystal detection blocks are optically isolated, in such a way that the scintillation light can only exit said blocks via the output region; and the scintillation crystal detection blocks and the array of photosensors are disposed in direct optical coupling.

摘要: A method of forming composite zeolite catalyst particles includes combining a silicon source, an aqueous organic structure directing agent having a polyquaternary ammonium compound, water and an aluminum source to form a catalyst gel. The method also includes heating the catalyst gel to form the composite zeolite catalyst particle having an intergrowth region with a mixture of both Mordenite crystals and ZSM-5 crystals. An associated method of making xylene includes feeding heavy reformate to a reactor, the reactor containing the composite zeolite catalyst particles, and producing xylene by simultaneously performing dealkylation and transalkylation of the heavy reformate in the reactor, where each composite zeolite catalyst particle is able to catalyze both the dealkylation and transalkylation reactions.

摘要: Device for extracting three-dimensional information from radiographic images of an object; process for calibrating said device; and process for generating said radiographic images includes an X-ray emitter and an X-ray sensor. A contour sensor represents contour points of an object by means of the radiation emitted or reflected by the object. The device also has a calibration framework with X-ray markers, and contour markers. The processes are based on taking contour and X-ray images of the calibration framework, first without an object of study and subsequently with one, taking into account the information provided by the markers, and the fact that the contour sensor is placed in the same manner with respect to the X-ray emitter in all the images taken.

摘要: This disclosure describes an imaging radiation detection module with novel configuration of the scintillator sensor allowing for simultaneous optimization of the two key parameters: detection efficiency and spatial resolution, that typically cannot be achieved. The disclosed device is also improving response uniformity across the whole detector module, and especially in the edge regions. This is achieved by constructing the scintillation modules as hybrid structures with continuous (also referred to as monolithic) scintillator plate(s) and pixelated scintillator array(s) that are optically coupled to each other and to the photodetector. There are two basic embodiments of the novel hybrid structure: (1) the monolithic scintillator plate is at the entrance for the incoming radiation, preferably gamma rays, and the pixelated array placed behind the plate, all in optical contact with the photodetector, (2) the order of the scintillator components is reversed with the pixelated scintillation plate placed in front of the monolithic plate.

摘要: The present invention discloses a calibration device of vector network analyzers implemented by means of SIC, ESIW and microstrip technology. The calibration device of the present invention has the special characteristic of being a modular device comprising connection modules (5) which are connected, on the one hand, to the vector analyzers and, on the other hand, to calibration modules (which may be SIC, ESIW or microstrip modules).This modular configuration allows that the noises intrinsic to the connection with the analyzer (including transfers to microstrip, SIC, etc.) are the same in all calibration measurements, making it possible to detect and/or eliminate the noises associated to said connection.

摘要: The device for locating cardiac arrhythmias comprises a three-dimensional reconstruction of the patient's torso and a number of surface electrodes, wherein the three-dimensional reconstruction of the patient's torso is generated through a number of images obtained by means of at least one camera. In particular, the device comprises elements for locating the surface electrodes, which detect the position of the electrodes with respect to the patient's torso, and data processing elements that generate, on the basis of the three-dimensional reconstruction and the position of the electrodes, a surface electrocardiographic map, and said surface electrocardiographic map has a number of data corresponding to readings of the surface electrodes related to areas of the three-dimensional reconstruction.

摘要: The invention relates to a bridge exciter for inducing vibrations in railway or roadway bridges, which comprises a servo-hydraulic actuator connected to a wagon designed to transport the same over tracks or a road. The actuator generates a force by moving a variable-weight reaction mass guided by linear bearings. It comprises hydraulic equipment that enables direct transmission of the vibrations to the infrastructure, independent of the rolling gear of the wagon or the rubber-tired vehicle, via false wheels. The movement of the actuator piston is controlled by a computer allowing the actuator to apply general forces on a bridge or roadway that do not exceed the maximum acceptable displacement of the piston: harmonic, impulsive, and transient forces. The equipment is provided with the necessary load control elements.

摘要: Method of making BTX compounds including benzene, toluene, and xylene, including feeding heavy reformate to a reactor containing a composite zeolite catalyst. The composite zeolite catalyst includes a mixture of layered mordenite (MOR-L) comprising a layered or rod-type morphology with a layer thickness less than 30 nm and ZSM-5. The MOR-L, the ZSM-5, or both include one or more impregnated metals. The method further includes producing the BTX compounds by simultaneously performing transalkylation and dealkylation of the heavy reformate in the reactor. The composite zeolite catalyst is able to simultaneously catalyze both the transalkylation and dealkylation reactions.

摘要: A method of forming a composite zeolite catalyst includes combining a silicon source and an aqueous organic structure directing agent having a polyamino cation compound to form a silica intermediary gel, introducing an aluminum precursor to the silica intermediary gel to form a catalyst precursor gel, evaporating water in the catalyst precursor gel to form a catalyst gel, and heating the catalyst gel to form a composite zeolite catalyst particle having an intergrowth region with a mixture of both Beta crystals and ZSM-5 crystals. An associated method of making xylene includes feeding heavy reformate to a reactor, the reactor containing the composite zeolite catalyst, and producing xylene by simultaneously performing dealkylation and transalkylation of the heavy reformate in the reactor, where each composite zeolite catalyst particle is able to catalyze both the dealkylation and transalkylation reactions.

摘要: Intramedullary fixation device, having an intramedullary rod (2) which is provided for insertion thereof into a bone (1) and consists of a central screw (4) having a first free end comprising a stopper (7) and a second free end with a pre-tensioning nut (8), an alternating series of expanders (3) and bolts (5) being arranged in between, the bolt surfaces in contact with the expanders (3) having a wedge shape. The bolts (5) or expanders (3) may have no, or one or more variations in the dimensions of the different geometric parameters, in accordance with the adjacent expanders, along the length of the implant, and the central screw (4) may have a variable cross section. The device may have different additional components, such as an osteotomic base (9) for fixation of the musculature. The device promotes maximum nailing limited between these elements and produces a controlled peripheral radial deformation.
