摘要: Management of subscriber identity modules is disclosed. A server apparatus manages, in addition to or instead of mobile network operators, by a service provider, subscriptions to wireless communication networks. The server apparatus maintains subscriber identity module-specific usage records. Each usage record comprises a quantity quantifying amount of data transferred with each subscriber identity module and a limit setting the maximum allowed amount of data transfer for each subscriber identity module. The server apparatus compares periodically the quantity in each usage record with the limit in the same usage record, and if the quantity in the usage record is within a predetermined margin of the limit in the same usage record, transmits, with the data communication interface, to the mobile apparatus, a command to limit data transfer speed of the subscriber identity module defined by the usage record.

摘要: Processing of preferred roaming lists is disclosed. Usage data about wireless communication networks as utilized by a plurality of mobile apparatuses each associated with a set of subscriber identity modules performing subscriber identification and authentication in the wireless communication networks is gathered. Subscriber identity module-specific preferred roaming lists are updated on the basis of the usage data. The updated preferred roaming lists are distributed for use by the sets of the subscriber identity modules in the plurality of the mobile apparatuses.

摘要: A system and a method for redox analysis. Upstream redox potentials are obtained from an upstream sensor apparatus in an upstream flow of an aqueous solution. Upstream chemical parameters are detected based on the upstream redox potentials. Downstream redox potentials are obtained from a downstream sensor apparatus. Each sensor apparatus measures redox potentials as a result of one or more reduced or oxidised chemical species in the aqueous solution. Instructions for processing of the downstream redox potentials are generated based on the detected upstream chemical parameter. The generated instructions instructing to test whether the downstream redox potentials indicate a successive downstream chemical parameter, wherein the successive downstream chemical parameter has evolved in a known chemical manner from the detected upstream chemical parameter. The one or more downstream redox potentials are processed based on the generated instructions.

One or more memories and computer program code are configured to, with one or more processors, cause the mobile apparatus at least to: communicate, with a wireless transceiver utilizing the default subscriber identity module as the master, voice and message services; communicate, with the wireless transceiver, selection data with an operator-independent external electronic service; receive, with the wireless transceiver utilizing the default subscriber identity module, network information; obtain location data; select an alternative subscriber identity module on the basis of the selection data, the network information, and the location data; and communicate, with the wireless transceiver utilizing the selected alternative subscriber identity module, data communication services.

摘要: There is provided an apparatus caused to at least cause a reception of information from a second device, wherein the information indicates a need to utilize the network capacity of the apparatus by the second device; detect an identifier of the second device in order to enable identification of the second device; determine whether or not to allow the second device to utilize the network capacity on the basis of the identification; upon deciding to allow the second device to utilize the network capacity of the apparatus, apply an optimal SIM among a plurality of SIMs in accessing a network to be shared, wherein the apparatus comprises the plurality of SIMs and the optimal SIM is selected among the plurality of SIMs on the basis of predetermined criteria; and cause transfer of data between the second device and the accessed network.
