Abstract: A system for facilitating a package delivery at or a pickup from a door assembly of a building structure is provided. |The door assembly may include a door with a thickness, and a door jamb. The door may be hingedly coupled to the door jamb to define a door channel between the door and the door jamb. The system includes a package receiving enclosure, a securing arrangement and a locking assembly. The securing arrangement may be coupled to the package receiving enclosure. Abstract: There is provided an interface viewable on a display for a communications apparatus used during a session for voice communications between at least two parties. The interface includes at least one edge of the display having a row of objects, each object of the row being for representing each of the at least two parties; and a main portion of the display being for showing the object of the party speaking at a particular point in time, with a plurality of the objects being shown when a plurality of the parties are speaking at the particular point in time. Advantageously, the object of the speaking party is shown on the main portion when the speaking party's voice is detected by the speaking party's communications apparatus, a host server receiving information from the speaking party's communications apparatus to aid in displaying the object of the speaking party at the particular point in time. Alternatively, the object of the speaking party may also undergo a change of state, such as, for example, a blinking effect, a single occurrence resizing effect, a transitional blurring effect, a repeated resizing effect, and any combination of the aforementioned.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for switching a source of an audiovisual program configured for distribution among a plurality of user terminals is described. In one example, a first real-time digital bitstream and a second real-time digital bitstream are received. The source is mapped to the first real-time digital bitstream. A request is received from a remote controller. The request is operative to switch the source of the audiovisual program. The source of the audiovisual program is switched to the second real-time digital bitstream in response to the request. Time stamp data in the second real-time digital bitstream is adjusted to provide a continuous time base for the audiovisual program.
