The system includes a package receiving enclosure, a securing arrangement and a locking assembly. The securing arrangement may be coupled to the package receiving enclosure. The securing arrangement may be adapted to be received in the door channel between the door and the door jamb for detachably coupling the package receiving enclosure to the door assembly of the building structure. There is provided an interface viewable on a display for a communications apparatus used during a session for voice communications between at least two parties. The interface includes at least one edge of the display having a row of objects, each object of the row being for representing each of the at least two parties; and a main portion of the display being for showing the object of the party speaking at a particular point in time, with a plurality of the objects being shown when a plurality of the parties are speaking at the particular point in time. Advantageously, the object of the speaking party is shown on the main portion when the speaking party's voice is detected by the speaking party's communications apparatus, a host server receiving information from the speaking party's communications apparatus to aid in displaying the object of the speaking party at the particular point in time. Alternatively, the object of the speaking party may also undergo a change of state, such as, for example, a blinking effect, a single occurrence resizing effect, a transitional blurring effect, a repeated resizing effect, and any combination of the aforementioned.

In one example, a first real-time digital bitstream and a second real-time digital bitstream are received. The source is mapped to the first real-time digital bitstream. A request is received from a remote controller. The request is operative to switch the source of the audiovisual program. The source of the audiovisual program is switched to the second real-time digital bitstream in response to the request. Time stamp data in the second real-time digital bitstream is adjusted to provide a continuous time base for the audiovisual program.

A calibration system for calibrating multi-channel sound systems. The calibration system includes a method for calibrating a sound system that includes a plurality of loudspeakers. The method includes steps of mapping the plurality of loudspeakers into a virtual loudspeaker system representation displayable to a user, activating at least one calibration function that creates a calibration signal that is reproduced by one or more of the plurality of loudspeakers to produce a calibration sound perceivable by the user, modifying the virtual loudspeaker system representation to include a virtual calibration indicator that indicates a characteristic of the calibration signal, and adjusting the virtual calibration indicator based on a user input, wherein when the virtual calibration indicator is adjusted, a corresponding adjustment is made to the characteristic of the calibration signal until a selected calibration sound is achieved.

There is provided a dynamic digitized visual icon appearing on a sender's and recipient's display with the icon being used to represent at least one word in a language that is being used by the sender during text messaging. The icon may include a static base image; and at least one component image overlaid onto the base image. The at least one component image may vary in accordance with determining an aspect selected from the group consisting of, for example, the at least one word, a preferred characteristics of the sender/recipient or a combination of both the aforementioned aspects. It is advantageous that the icon alters appearance whenever the at least one word is used by the sender/received by the recipient during text messaging. Corresponding methods to generate the aforementioned icons are also disclosed.

A bead of a tire comprises a pair of beads interiorly inserted with a plurality of annular members, and the annular members are mutually parallel. Each of the annular members is made of a plurality of flexible steel cords twisted together, and the diameter of the respective flexible steel cords ranging from 0.05 mm to 1.0 mm. The tire is flexible and can be folded/rolled into a compact package for easy transportation and storage. In addition, a reinforcing member is made of cotton or other materials and can be rounded with the annular member for improving the joint strength of the flexible steel cords.
