Further, a prepreg comprising the above resin composition and a glass woven fabric, a metal-foil-clad laminate obtained by disposing a metal foil on one side or both sides of a stack of at least one prepreg and laminate-molding the resultant set, and a resin sheet obtained by applying a solution of the above resin composition to a surface of a metal foil or a film.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a titanium slab for hot rolling which can be fed into a general purpose hot-rolling mill for producing strip coil, without passage through a breakdown process such as blooming or a straightening process, and can further suppress surface defect occurrence of the hot-rolled strip coil, and a method of producing and a method of rolling the same, characterized in that in the cast titanium slab an angle θ formed by the crystal growth direction (solidification direction) from the surface layer toward the interior and a direction parallel to the slab casting direction (longitudinal direction) is 45 to 90°, and moreover, there is a surface layer structure of 10 mm or greater whose θ is 70 to 90°, and further characterized in that a crystal grain layer of 10 mm or greater is formed whose C-axis direction inclination of a titanium α phase is, as viewed from the side of the slab to be hot rolled, in the range of 35 to 90° from the normal direction of the surface to be hot rolled. The titanium slab concerned is produced using an electron beam melting furnace by casting at an extraction rate of 1.0 cm/min or greater.
Abstract:
An oil pump includes a first spill passage formed on a side surface (60) of a pump chamber (58) to communicate a hydraulic pressure chamber (54) with a first high pressure discharge passage (68) when the entire hydraulic pressure chamber (54) is positioned between the first high pressure discharge passage (68) and a first low pressure discharge passage (70). Therefore, when the hydraulic pressure chamber (54) passes between the first high pressure discharge passage (68) and the first low pressure discharge passage (70), the hydraulic pressure inside the predetermined hydraulic pressure chamber (54) escapes to the first high pressure discharge passage (68) through a first spill passage (76), so a hydraulic pressure value inside the hydraulic pressure chamber (54) is maintained at the pressure value inside the first high pressure discharge passage (68). As a result, fluid is inhibited from flowing into the hydraulic pressure chamber (54) from the first high pressure discharge passage (68) through a space between inner peripheral teeth (48) and outer peripheral teeth (42).
Abstract:
A crankshaft is normally and reversely rotated at a constant speed, during which the singular points of crankshaft driving motor current responding to the drive torque change of the crankshaft are detected. A crankshaft rotational angle reference point is set based on the midpoint between the crankshaft rotational positions obtained when, among these singular points, singular points having the same type appear during the respective normal and reverse rotations. Therefore, the crankshaft rotational angle reference point can be reliably set regardless of the variations and errors.

An electronic apparatus includes: a touch panel that, when touch operations are carried out in which one or a plurality of indicating means come into contact with or proximity to the touch panel, supplies touch information that indicates the positions of contact points at which the one or plurality of indicating means come into contact with or proximity to the touch panel; a storage unit that stores, as authentication data, the number of the contact points in the touch operations that is indicated by the touch information; and an authentication unit that, upon receiving the touch information after a request for user authentication, carries out user authentication based on a comparison of the number of the contact points that is indicated by the touch information and the authentication data stored in the storage unit.
Abstract:
Some embodiments of the present invention provide a system that performs card-based transactions. During operation, the system displays a set of magnetic-stripe cards to a user through a user interface of a portable device and obtains a user selection of a magnetic-stripe card from the set of magnetic stripe cards. Next, the system writes magnetic-stripe data associated with the magnetic-stripe card to a rewritable magnetic stripe on the portable device. Finally, the system uses the rewritable magnetic stripe in the card-based transaction in place of the magnetic-stripe card.
Abstract:
In MRAM, a write wiring clad in a ferromagnetic film has been used to reduce a write current or avoid disturbances. Besides, a CuAl wiring obtained by adding a trace of Al to a Cu wiring has been used widely to secure reliability of a high reliability product. There is a high possibility of MRAM being mounted in high reliability products so that reliability is important. Clad wiring however increases the resistance of the CuAl wiring, which is originally high, so that using both may fail to satisfy the specification of the wiring resistance. In the semiconductor device of the invention having plural copper-embedded wiring layers, copper wiring films of plural copper-embedded clad wirings configuring a memory cell matrix region of MRAM are made of relatively pure copper, while a CuAl wiring film is used as copper wiring films of copper-embedded non-clad wirings below these wiring layers.
Abstract:
A transmission circuit that performs modulation based on a phase difference signal and an amplitude signal includes an asymmetrical phase rotation device. The asymmetrical phase rotation device performs an operation of subtracting 2π from a value of the phase difference signal when the value of the phase difference signal is greater than a predetermined positive threshold value, or an operation of adding 2π to the value of the phase difference signal when the value of the phase difference signal is less than a predetermined negative threshold value. Accordingly, the transmission circuit has distortion reduction characteristics improved uniformly over a range of frequencies higher or lower than a carrier wave band.
