    摘要: In a method and/or an OFDM device for SC-FDMA data transmission, a sequence of input data is transformed by means of a discrete transformation as transformed data signals of coded and modulated data signals on first frequency channels into a first frequency space over a first number of frequencies. The transformed data signals are mapped on second frequency channels in a second frequency space with a larger second number of frequencies. The transformed data signals on the second frequency channels are inverse-transformed using an inverse transformation. Data inversely transformed in such a way are provided for transmission. The transformed data signals are mapped into a frequency range of the second frequency channels in such a way that a constant component of the transformed data signals is mapped centrally within the frequency range.

    摘要: In a radio communication system, at least a first frequency band is subdivided into C radio resource units which are allocable for radio transmissions between radio stations and terminals. Each radio resource unit has at least two adjacent subcarriers, for allocation of at least a first resource unit for a data transmission between a terminal and a radio station. The radio station receives from the terminal a first short training symbol which has spectrally the same bandwidth as the first frequency band and includes at least Q frequency carriers, where Q is greater or equal to C, but smaller than the total number of subcarriers. The radio station estimates the radio channel for at least the first radio resource unit using the first short training symbol, and an allocation of the first radio resource unit to the terminal is broadcasted by the radio station.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method to determine a transmission mode to be used at a MIMO-transmitter. The determination of an optimum transmission mode is done at the side of a MIMO-receiver. The receiver calculates for each stream of a maximum number of received streams an effective SINR-value for a given first linear dispersion code LDC. The SINR value of each stream is used to select, according to a desired BER target, a suitable modulation alphabet for each stream. A sum-rate is calculated over all streams and a first stream with a minimum effective SINR value is separated and is not considered furthermore. A linear dispersion code LDC with a smaller code rate than the first linear dispersion code LDC is selected and SINR-values for the remaining N-I streams are calculated. A new sum-rate is obtained accordingly. In case that the new sum rate of the remaining N-I streams is smaller than the sum rate of N streams, the sum-rate calculation is terminated. In all other cases, the step of separation of a stream with smallest effective SINR, the step of selection of a linear dispersion code LDC with a smaller code rate than the linear dispersion code LDC before and the step of calculation of SINR value for remaining streams are repeated accordingly. The most suitable code rate of the linear dispersion code LDC is selected after the termination and the code rate is reported to the transmitter, together with assigned quantized effective SINR value of each stream, to allow a final decision about a optimum transmission mode at the transmitter.

    摘要: It is described a method for transmitting channel quality information between a second network element and a first network element. The method includes (a) dividing a range of possible radio channel qualities between the two network elements into a fixed number of quality classes, (b) measuring the quality of a radio channel between the two network elements, (c) selecting one quality class out of the fixed number of quality classes based on the measured quality of the radio channel, (d) transmitting from the second network element to the first network element a first channel quality information being indicative for the selected quality class, and (e) transmitting from the second network element to the first network element a second channel quality information being indicative for the measured quality within the limits of the selected quality class. It is further described the first and the second network element, which in conjugation with each other are adapted to carry out the described method.
