A keyboard dock and a computer system are provided. The computer system includes a portable computer and the keyboard dock. The keyboard dock includes a base, a supporting plate, a first bracket, a sleeve and a second bracket. The base has a keyboard module. The supporting plate is used for supporting the portable computer. Ends of the first bracket are pivotally connected to the base and the supporting plate respectively. The sleeve is movably assembled to the first bracket. One end of the second bracket is pivotally connected to the sleeve, and another end of the second bracket is pivotally connected to the base or the supporting plate. The second bracket is shorter than the first bracket. The supporting plate covers the base in a first state. The supporting plate obliquely stands on the base in a second state, and the keyboard module is not covered by the supporting plate.

A method for integrating a mobile communication device and a portable electronic device is disclosed. A protection cover and an electronic-device body of the portable electronic device are pivotally connected for containing the mobile communication device. The mobile communication device is removably and rotatably connected to the electronic-device body. The method includes detecting whether the mobile communication device is coupled to the electronic-device body by the mobile communication device, detecting whether the protection cover is open by the mobile communication device when the mobile communication device detects electrical connection of the mobile communication device to the electronic-device body, detecting whether the mobile communication device is rotated to a position parallel to a horizontal surface to generate a detection result by the mobile communication device when the protection cover is open, and switching the mobile communication device to a touch mode or an image capturing mode according to the detection result.

Electronic paper (E-paper) game systems are provided. The E-paper game system at least includes a chessboard and a plurality of chessmen. The chessboard at least includes a first E-paper display unit for displaying a graphical data of a first chessboard for a first game interface. Each of the chessmen includes a second E-paper display unit for displaying a graphical data of a first chessman which corresponds to the graphical data of the first chessboard. The chessboard and the chessmen respectively update the graphical data of the first chessboard displayed by the first E-paper display unit and the graphical data of the first chessman displayed by the second E-paper display unit to a graphical data of a second chessboard corresponding to a second game interface and a graphical data of a second chessman which corresponds to the graphical data of the second chessboard.

An external extension for holding a portable computer includes a base, a keyboard module disposed on a first area of the base, a pin set disposed on a third area of the base and electrically connected to the keyboard module, and a protecting cover disposed on the first area in a pivotable manner and adjacent to a second area of the base. The protecting cover covers the keyboard module when the protecting cover pivots relative to the base at a first position. The protecting cover is for holding the portable computer when the protecting cover pivots relative to the base at a second position and a side of the protecting cover contacts against a lateral side of the second area, so that a visual angle can be formed between the portable computer and the keyboard module.

A display positioning mechanism includes two hinge modules connected to two ends of a supporting component. Each hinge module includes a preload control washer whereon a constraining structure is formed. Each hinge module further includes a loading component. A fixing end of the loading component is fixed on an end of the supporting component. When an angle of a display and a supporting plane is within a first range, the loading component is preloaded and a free end of the loading component contacts against an end of the constraining structure so as to provide a torque in a first direction to the supporting component. When the angle of the display and the supporting plane is within a second range, the free end of the loading component does not contact against the end of the constraining structure so that the loading component can not provide the torque to the supporting component.

An alarm and a detection and alarming method thereof are disclosed. The alarm is used to monitor a computer system. The alarm comprises a control module, a motion sensor and a user input interface circuit. The method comprises the following steps: activating an alarming procedure by the user input interface circuit; detecting whether a motion signal is generated or not; if yes, executing an instruction inputting procedure; determining whether a correct instruction is inputted or not; if yes, deactivating the alarming procedure; and if not, executing an alarm.
