The grid is easily secured to a wall and the modules moved laterally onto the grid with rotatable locks securing the modules to the rails. Chemical source modules have lockable doors preventing unauthorized access to chemicals therein and preventing unauthorized module removal. A variety of module configurations are provided, reducing inventories of custom parts. Methods are disclosed.

    摘要: A dispenser selectively mixes one or more chemical fluids into a motive fluid such as water by using diverting motive fluid to one or more channels formed in an eductor body, at least one of the channels being an eductor. When the motive fluid passes through the eductor, a selected chemical fluid is eductively drawn into the venturi of the eductor, producing a mixed fluid having a desired total flow rate and dilution ratio. Additional dilution ratios, flow rates, and chemical fluids are selectable by diverting motive fluid to another channel or combinations of channels. Carry-over of chemical fluid between dispensing is avoided by diverting the motive fluid rather than by diverting the concentrated chemical fluid.

The reservoirs are filled with new concentrate from a current fill level mark to a full level mark and the volume of concentrate filled between the marks is calculated for filling and inventory purposes. The front handle is narrower than the reservoir sides and flanges at the upper end of the reservoir to facilitate in and out sliding of the reservoir for billing and cleaning.

    摘要: An ultra-lean dilution apparatus is provided for proportioning minute quantities of a first fluid, such as a concentrated cleaning solution, for mixing into a second fluid, such as tap water, which provides improved performance and which can be manufactured by assembling several molded components with little or no machining. The dilution apparatus (20) provides a selective pressure drop in a conduit (22) by including a plurality of dilution disks (50a-50f), each dilution disk (50a-50f) having a tortuous path (52a-52f) of sufficient cross-sectional area to be resistant to clogging and having a sufficient number of sharp turns to create a desired pressure drop. While each disk (50a-50f) produces a predetermined drop, the serial configuration of the tortuous paths of the plurality of dilution disks is additive to produce a range of dilution suitable for the chemicals used. Advantageously, the tortuous path of a first of the plurality of dilution disks (50a) is recessed into a front face so that bringing the front face (54a) of the first dilution disk (50a) in contact with a back face (55b) of a second dilution disk (50b) completes the tortuous path (52a). Furthermore, a blind intake (58a) of the tortuous path (52a) of the first dilution disk (50a-50f) selectively communicates with an output port (56b) of another tortuous path (52b) on a front face (54b) the second dilution disk (50b).

    摘要: A three-piece air gap eductor includes a molded body having air gap, discharge and venturi sections, a nozzle and a spray shield extending about the venturi section entry to constrain turbulence and reduce backsplash and spray exiting the air gap chamber. A water stream engaging the outer-driven venturi is smoothly divided into respective venturi and bypass streams, with the frustoconical shield capturing turbulent water outside the venturi in a water sheet moving toward a discharge. An improved shield is frustoconically shaped, has an internal reflection shoulder and external moister collecting bars to enhance mist and spray reduction in the air gap section. A V-shaped recess in the shield facilitates its emplacement about the venturi section. The molded body is stiffened to avoid functional misalignment of the water stream between the nozzle and the venturi.

The air gap section includes an outer wall and an inner wall with a gap between the walls. The eductor is made from several molded parts that may be assembled without requiring machining. Further, eductor has a unique spray shield design that more effectively controls water splash in the eductor section and simplifies assembly.
