    摘要: A profiled unit (10) for a shower partition door (S) is mounted for rotation about an off-center vertical axis (A) and accommodates, in longitudinal grooves (12, 14) on either side, partial leaves (22, 24) whose position relative to each other is adjustable in at least two directions. At the front and/or rear, flat elements (30, 38) are lockable into a profiled element (11), whose ends accommodate pivot bearings (26, 28) between which the profiled unit (10) can be raised or lowered even during its rotation and can be locked in position in at least one door position. An adjustable and lockable supporting plate (50) sits below the bottom pivot bearing (26). Above this, the door rests on a preloadable spring assembly (F) that includes a compression spring (67) that can be contracted and released in order to lower or raise said door (S), respectively.

When unfolded, top and bottom panels are attached to complete the cabinet structure. The fold-out cabinet can be rapidly assembled and takes up a minimal footprint when packaged for storage, shipping or merchandising. Optional accessories may be included with the cabinet, including a workbench type top surface, one or more shelves, one or more drawers, and one or more doors. When assembled, the cabinet is structurally stable and functional, but requires little time for complete assembly.

    摘要: A temperature-controlled case is provided including a frame and a door coupled to the frame and pivotable about a pivot axis between a closed position and an open position. The door includes a passage that interchangeably receives a door closure control assembly at one of the top or the bottom of the door, and an electrical connectivity system at the other of the top or the bottom of the door. The electrical connectivity system includes a first electrical connector coupled to the door, and a second electrical connector coupled to the frame so that the first and second electrical connectors are engaged when the door is coupled to the frame. The door closure control assembly includes a torsion spring that is fixed at one end to the door and fixed at another end to the frame, so that when the door is opened the torsion spring provides an increasing force to urge the door toward the closed position.

    摘要: A hollow profile insert or key can be used to form structural joints. In forming the joint, the insert or key is inserted into open ends of two or more hollow members, where the members are hollow at least in the joint forming area. An adhesive is then applied to the interface between the insert or key and each hollow member. The insert is engineered with channels and recessed adhesive accumulation areas or adhesive pans such that the adhesive accumulates only at a location at the recessed area, in a bonding location with the member, providing significant structural integrity to the joint. The insert can be configured to include either an external hinge pin insert aperture that is configured to accept a hinge pin or a support wheel support wheel aperture and a support wheel located therein.

A pivot assembly for pivot windows &c. comprises two circular discs 6, 7 disposed in circular blind bores 4, 5, in a light-alloy housing 3, the discs having arc-shaped recesses 15, 16, so that during the first 90 degrees of window rotation the recess 16 engages the disc 6 to prevent rotation of the disc 7 in the housing 3, then a stud 17 in the housing abuts the end of a slot 18 in the disc 6 to prevent further rotation of the disc 6 in the housing, and then during window rotation from 90 degrees up to 180 degrees the recess 15 engages the disc 7 to prevent rotation of the disc 6. The first disc 6 is adjustably clamped to a bracket 1 screwable to a window-frame, and the second disc 7 is separably attached to a bracket 2 screwable to a window sash. The discs 6, 7 each have a radial slit, the edges of which are engaged by a conical screw and nut 13, 14 received in conical bores 20 and adjustable via holes 19 in the bottom of each bore 4, 5 so as to adjust the friction between the discs and the bores.
