Abstract:
Disclosed is a composition of a lubricant for cold pilgering of zirconium alloy tubes. More particularly, disclosed is a composition of an internal lubricant for cold pilgering of a zirconium alloy cladding tube, the composition exhibiting excellent lubricity and decomposition against microbes.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a bicycle having a front wheel driving means. The bicycle having the front wheel driving means according to the present invention includes a frame, a front wheel, a rear wheel, a steering part, and a chain part, wherein opposite sides of the front wheel are provided with respective recoilers having respective one-way clutches therein, and the steering part is provided with a driving means for pulling a wire connected to each of the recoilers.
Abstract:
Systems, methods, and computer-readable media, for facilitating control of network loads are provided. In embodiments of the present invention, network data associated with a plurality of base stations within a communications network are monitored. Upon identifying that a network load associated with a base station exceeds a network load threshold, an indication that a user device utilizing the base station that exceeds the network load threshold to communicate should transfer to another base station that fails to exceed the network load threshold is provided.
Abstract:
A portable electronic device is provided comprising a processor, a memory, a loading application stored in the memory that accesses loading criteria for a first, second, and third ID wherein the criteria comprise measures of relative importance applied to variables associated with each of the IDs and wherein the IDs comprise at least one of an application, a media file, and a widget. The system determines a current value of at least one variable wherein variables comprise at least one of day of the week, time of day, and geographic location of the device and additionally comprise a first, a second, and a third event status associated with the first, second, and third ID, respectively. The system applies the criteria to the current values of the variables to determine a composite loading factor for each of the IDs and loads one of the IDs based on the factor.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a portable computer having an access door. The portable computer has a housing having a surface with an opening. At least one slot is formed on the surface having the opening. A door is coupled to the housing from the outside and the housing has at least one pin inserted into the housing through a slot. A washer is coupled to the pin. The washer is combined with a pin within the housing to enable the door to be moved horizontally along the slot. A spring is mounted on the surface corresponding to the slot. The spring provides the door with an elastic force when the door is moved horizontally along the slots.

Abstract:
An arrangement for safely keeping a stylus as the input unit in the housing of a palm-sized computer contains a guide opening formed in one side of the housing, a stylus holding channel extending from the guide opening towards the inside of the housing for holding the stylus inserted through the guide opening, the cross section of the stylus holding channel being designed to snugly receive the stylus, at least a groove formed on the circumference of the stylus, a resilient strip formed integrally with the inside of the stylus holding channel by cutting the wall of the stylus holding channel, the resilient strip elongated in the direction of the stylus holding channel and having a free end, and a hook projected from the free end of the resilient strip towards the inside of the stylus holding channel, wherein the hook may engage the groove to safely keep the stylus inserted into the stylus holding channel. Preferably, the stylus has more than one grooves so as to be inserted into the stylus holding channel step by step. The arrangement further includes a flange radially formed on the rear end of the stylus, and a slot formed in one side of the housing adjacent to the guide opening as to engage and expose the flange of the stylus completely inserted into the stylus holding channel, whereby the flange may be manually pressed upon retracting the stylus out of the stylus holding channel. The hook contains a radius of curvature the same as that of a groove of a stylus allowing for surfaces, instead of points, to meet when the hook locks into a groove of a stylus.
Abstract:
A high-energy laser system intercepting a target using a phase conjugate mirror includes a laser oscillator which generates a laser beam irradiated to the target, a light amplifier which receives the laser beam irradiated to and reflected by the target so as to amplify it, a phase conjugate mirror which reflects the amplified laser beam. And the laser beam that is reflected by the phase conjugate mirror is amplified again in the light amplifier, and then irradiated to the target so as to intercept the target.
