    摘要: Disclosed herein is a robot, which has a simple structure and makes a gesture in a curved shape. The robot includes a body part, at least one cam member symmetrically arranged at both sides of the inside of the body part, an outer cover member surrounding the at least one cam member, and a linear moving device to linearly move the at least one cam member. The shape of the outer cover member is varied, under the condition that the outer cover member is adhered closely to the at least one cam member, according to the movement of the at least one cam member.

    摘要: An intelligent network system including a client unit and a server unit providing a service to the client unit, and a method and computer-readable medium controlling the same are disclosed. If the server unit copies a process that performs a service requested by the client unit into the client unit, and the server unit cannot provide the service any longer, the process is copied to another available server unit so that the service can be continuously provided. Also, if there is no available server unit, the client unit receives the service using the copy process pre-stored in the client unit itself. Therefore, although the network or the peripheral device is in the worst state, the client unit can stably receive the service.

    摘要: Disclosed herein is a system which transmits an image using a lossless compression method in a robot to provide a service over a network and a method thereof. The network-based robot separates an image acquired by a stereo camera into various image formats and transmits the various image formats to a service server. The service server synthesizes the separated image formats to suit an image request such as face recognition, object recognition, navigation or monitoring to restore and provide an original image. When the network-based robot transmits the separated image formats to the server, the original image is transmitted using the lossless method to improve the performance of the server. Even when a service using a new image is added, separated images are transmitted with respect to the image format requested by this service to more flexibly cope with the service using the new image. Since channels are separated in order to receive lossless data, network gain is obtained.

The method and system minimize magnetic field interference in a space where an object is moving such that the orientations of the moving object can be precisely detected.
