Abstract: The design and synthesis of six nickel charge transfer (CT) complexes are described herein. The six nickel CT complexes have a nickel center, two organic ligands coordinated with the nickel center to form a dianionic square planar supramolecule and an organic counter-cation as represented by The ligands and counter-cations are selected to optimize properties, such as molecular alignment, film morphology, and molecular packaging. Described herein, the ligands can be 2,3-pyrazinedithiol (L1), 1,2-benzenedithol (L2) or 2,3-quinoxalinedithol (L3) and the counter-cations can be diquat (2,2′-ebpy) or methyl viologen (4,4′-mbpy). The six nickel CT complexes can also be utilized semiconductor devices, such as thin film transistors or inverters. Processes are also provided for the fabrication of semiconductors devices. The processes can include fabricating a substrate with a bilayer octadecylphosphonic acid (ODPA)/Al2O3 dielectric and applying one of the six nickel charge transfer (CT) complexes to the substrate.

Abstract: The present invention provides an electronic card connector, and intends to arrange one single testing terminal which forms a testing circuit together with an inherent conductive terminal of the electronic card connector, thereby obtaining a testing function which must be done by using two insertion pins in the prior art. Due to omitting one testing terminal, the volume of the electronic card connector is further reduced, and product assembly becomes more simply and opera table, thereby improving product efficiency, and greatly lowing manufacturing cost.

Abstract: A method (400) for automatically performing a plurality of image processing functions on an electronic device (100) by providing a plurality of image processing option keys (405) including a first image processing option key and a second image processing option key. The first image processing option key is associated with a first image processing function and the second image processing option key is associated with a second image processing function that is different from the first image processing function. The method (400) performs capturing (410) a first image using a camera (119) in response to a user activation of the first image processing option key and then automatically performing (415) the first image processing function in response to capturing the first image. Next, there is performed a capturing (420) a second image using the camera (119) in response to a user activation of the second image processing option key and automatically performing (425) the second image processing function in response to capturing the second image. Both the first image processing function and the second image processing function are selected from a group of functions.

Abstract: A system and method is disclosed to provide inter-packet-node paging between communication networks. The networks recognize whether inter-network paging is supported therebetween and advertise overlapping codes between networks having adjacent location areas. When the mobile station moves from the first network to the second network, the first network determines whether the second network shares an overlapping code therewith. If the networks share an overlapping code, the first network sends a paging request to the second network including link configuration information and the notification for the mobile station, wherein the notification can be delivered to mobile station in the second location area of the second communication network without the mobile station having to register in the second communication network.

Abstract: A press-contacting conductive terminal device comprises a non-conductive enclosure, a base, a contact member and a resilient member. The non-conductive enclosure defines a cylindrically shaped through hole. A front end and a rear end of the through hole having a first opening and a second opening, respectively. The contact member having a front end portion and a rear end portion, the rear end portion of the contact member and the resilient member being received in the through hole. One end of the resilient member abutting against the rear end portion of the contact member and the front end portion of the contact member extending through the first opening and beyond a front end of the non-conductive enclosure. The base including two side wings and a base portion, the base closing the second opening of the rear end of the through hole. The rear end of the contact member being set between the two side wings of the base and the outer wall of the rear end of the contact member sliding within the inner walls and the two side wings. Thereby, the assembled press-contacting conductive terminal device omits the need for the previous metal shell, saving material, reducing weight, and saving cost.
