摘要: A simply configured brake pedal is restricted in regression and pivot thereof in the event of a vehicle collision, thereby preventing or minimizing injury to a driver. The brake pedal structure for preventing injury includes a brake pedal mounting bracket, a blocking piece, a support bracket, and a blocking panel. A blocking piece is installed at a pedal arm of the brake pedal and protrudes out towards the rear of the vehicle. A recession limit means is equipped at a steering column mounting bracket connected to a cowl cross bar to restrict a backward shift of the blocking piece.

摘要: An accelerator pedal system includes a pedal control unit that receives a vehicle speed signal and a signal from a switch, and compares the two signals. If the vehicle speed exceeds a preselected speed, the pedal control unit outputs a control signal to control a reaction force of an accelerator pedal on the basis of the preselected speed and a selected mode. The system also includes a reaction device that receives the control signal and controls the accelerator pedal according to the selected mode. The reaction device includes an actuator for generating power on the basis of the control signal, a power delivery unit for selectively transmitting the power generated by the actuator, and a wheel for receiving the power from the power delivery unit and transmitting the power to the accelerator pedal.

摘要: Novel carboxymethyl-etherified starch derivatives and methods for manufacturing the same, and more particularly, to the novel carboxymethyl-etherified starch derivatives having a viscosity in 5% aqueous solution of 15.about.600 cps, when measured by a viscometer of the Hakke rotary type; a permeability in 0.1% aqueous solution of more than 95% at 623 nm, when measured by a UV spectrophotometer; viscosity values at a maximum temperature of 95.degree. C. and at a temperature cooled to 50.degree. C. of 6.about.304 BU and 6.about.720 BU, respectively when measured by a Brabender viscometer. The cool water-soluble carboxymethyl-etherified starch derivatives are prepared by the following steps: starches (such as corn, potato, wheat and rice are dissolved in organic solvents, such as, lower alcohol without hydrolysis, or hydrolyzed in the presence of inorganic acids, such as, hydrochloric acid or sulfuric acid at 25.degree. to 75.degree. C. for 30 minutes to 72 hours. Then, with the addition of an etherifying agent, in the presence of alkali, some organic solvent of lower alcohol is further added to the mixture and reacted. The reactant was neutralized, purified with organic solvents and dried to give the desired product.

摘要: An accelerator position sensor (APS) includes a transmitting coil generating a magnetic field, a coupler controlling the magnetic field generated from the transmitting coil, a receiving coil receiving the magnetic field generated from the transmitting coil to generate a predetermined frequency, and a signal processor calculating rotation information of the coupler using the frequency received from the receiving coil and outputting displacement values of an accelerator pedal. With the APS, a guarantee signal can be generated only through the receiving coil and precise measuring values can be achieved.
