摘要: In a gear synchronizer assembly of the well-known type, a clutch sleeve is formed at its inner periphery with at least one first internal radial projection of large width and a pair of circumferentially spaced second internal radial projections of small width arranged at opposite sides of the first internal radial projection, a synchronizer ring being formed thereon with a pair of raised portions to be engaged with the first internal radial projection and another pair of raised portions to be engaged with the second internal radial projections. A thrust mechanism comprising a radially contractible annular spring is supported in place by engagement with the inner circumference of a cylindrical hub portion of a hub member fixed to a transmission shaft. The annular spring has an axial leg extending therefrom toward the first internal radial projection, and having a radial projection which is arranged to be engaged with the first internal radial projection in shifting operation of the clutch sleeve toward a spline piece integral with a change-speed gear and arranged to abut against and urge the synchronizer ring toward the spline piece upon engagement with the first internal radial projection.

摘要: An engagement device includes: an engaged body configured to rotate in conjunction with a rotary shaft; an engaging body arranged coaxially with the engaged body and configured to engage with the engaged body by movement in an axial direction; a power source configured to provide thrust to the engaging body in the axial direction; and a hub member configured to couple the engaging body to a torque receiver which receives torque transmitted from the engaged body at a time the engaging body engages with the engaged body. The engaged body, the engaging body, and the power source are accommodated in a closed space, and the hub member is at least a part of an outer shell forming the closed space.

摘要: A helical planetary gear assembly includes a ball bearing secured to a housing, a carrier sleeve coupled with an inner race of the ball bearing and being axially restrained by engagement therewith, an input shaft supported by the ball bearing through the carrier sleeve, an output shaft arranged coaxially with the input shaft for rotation relative thereto, a sun gear secured to the input shaft for rotation therewith, a ring gear secured to an internal wall of the housing, a planet carrier arranged between the sun and ring gears, and a plurality of planet gears rotatably supported by the planet carrier and being in meshing engagement with the sun and ring gears, the gears each being in the form of a helical gear. The planet carrier includes a body member secured to the carrier sleeve for rotation therewith, and the input shaft is axially restrained by opposite ends of the carrier sleeve through a pair of axially spaced thrust bearings.

摘要: In a power transfer device including a housing, an input shaft rotatably mounted within the housing, an output shaft rotatably mounted within the housing and arranged coaxially with the input shaft for relative rotation thereto, a planetary gear unit arranged within the housing and having an input element mounted on the input shaft for rotation therewith and an output element connectable to the output shaft, and a clutch sleeve axially slidably mounted on the output shaft and shiftable between a first position in which it is retained to effect a drive connection between the input and output shafts and a second position in which it is retained to effect a drive connection between the output element of the gear unit and the output shaft, an oil pump assembly is arranged in parallel with the input shaft and mounted on an internal wall of the housing to be driven by the output element of the gear unit to pump up lubricating oil stored within the housing and supply it into an axial bore in the input shaft through an oil passage formed in a peripheral wall of the housing.
