    摘要: According to an embodiment, radially extending inner spacers are provided in a stator core at a distance from each other in the circumferential direction at intervals between a prescribed number of stacked magnetic steel plates, and ventilation ducts for cooling gas flow are formed in the radial direction. The perimeter of each ventilation duct is defined by the inner spacers and a magnetic steel plate separated by the inner spacers. The cooling gas, which flows in the rotation direction, is split laterally to both sides of a rotor coil and directed toward the outer circumference. Portions of the shoulder parts of a wedge are cut off such that the width of the shoulder parts of the wedge at positions corresponding to the ventilation ducts matches the slot width.

    摘要: A rotating electric machine is provided, where a generator has an increased capacity and a reduced size achieved by electromagnetically effectively utilizing that parts of a rotor core which are outside the narrowest parts of magnetic poles of the rotor core to permit large field current and suppress an increase in temperature of rotor coils. The rotating electric machine includes a stator constructed by winding armature coils around a stator core (1), and a hollow circular cylindrical rotor. The rotor has at least one pair of magnetic poles (2), non-polar portions (3) between the magnetic poles, and interpolar portions (6) arranged in the non-polar portions. In the non-polar portions (3), a plurality of rotor slots (4) are arranged at predetermined intervals. Field windings are wound in each rotor slot (4). The cross-sectional areas (S) of the rotor slots (4) other than the rotor slots (4a) nearest to the magnetic poles (2) are gradually increased in the direction from the magnetic poles (2) to the interpolar portions (6).

    摘要: A rotor of a rotating electric machine includes a cylindrical rotor core, a plurality of coil slots provided on an outer periphery of the rotor core along a rotor axis direction, rotor coils disposed in the coil slots by laminating a plurality of field conductors through an insulation material, a rotor wedge disposed at an opening end portion of the coil slot so as to support the rotor coil, a coil ventilation duct formed in the coil slot so as to pass through the rotor coils, the rotor wedge and the insulation material, and sub-slots provided at bottom portions of the coil slots so as to be communicated with rotor core ends and the coil ventilation ducts. In such a rotor of a rotating electric machine, the coil slot, the sub-slots and the coil ventilation duct constitute a cooling gas channel for distributing a cooling gas to thereby cool the rotor coils. A depth in a diameter direction of each sub-slot from the rotor coil end to a nearest coil ventilation duct is larger than a depth of the sub-slot at a portion near a center of the rotor core.
