That is, the present invention provides the modified polyolefin resin obtained by modifying a polyolefin resin with (A) a polarity imparting agent which is at least one selected from chlorine, unsaturated carboxylic acid, derivatives and anhydrides of unsaturated carboxylic acid and radical polymerizable monomers; and (B) an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer having an unsaturated bond at one end, and use of said modified polyolefin resin as an aqueous resin composition or an organic solvent resin composition.

摘要: When gas is generated in an emergency situation of a vehicle and a cylinder is driven, one of wires rotates a pulley via a small diameter portion of the pulley. For this reason, the other wire connected to a large diameter portion of the pulley has a length wound around the large diameter portion, which is longer than that of the one wire. A drive stroke of the cylinder is increased and transmitted to a seat belt buckle. As a result, even if the cylinder is of a small size, a long pulling stroke is applied to a seat belt.

摘要: A pretensioner comprising a gas generating unit; a pretensioner body to whose inside the gas is supplied; a spool driving member disposed inside the pretensioner body and causing a spool to rotate to retract webbing onto the spool; a gas flow rate adjusting portion disposed in the spool driving member and whose inner peripheral shape is set in accordance with a flow rate of the gas to be passed through the gas flow rate adjusting portion; and a filter unit having a vent portion that is communicated with a space between the gas generating unit and the spool driving member and is also communicated with the gas flow rate adjusting portion. The open shape of the gas flow rate adjusting portion has a portion that does not coincide in a plan view with the open shape of the vent portion, and the overall open area of the vent portion is set larger than the open area of the gas flow rate adjusting portion.

摘要: In an automatic seat belt apparatus, a first tape is connected to a drive source. A second tape is connected to a slider and transmits a driving force from the drive source to the slider via the first tape. When a webbing is applied, a slide piece abuts a stopper. The slide piece moves relatively with respect to a lock plate against an urging force of a compression coil spring. Along with movement of the slide piece, the maintenance of the tapes at a connected position of the lock plate is cancelled. The lock plate rotates due to the urging force of the compression coil spring, and a separated position, at which the first tape and the second tape are separated, is maintained.

摘要: A shoulder anchor height adjusting apparatus is provided to adjust height of a shoulder anchor. A long bolt disposed at an upper portion of a side wall of a vehicle, has its axis in a vertical direction of the vehicle, and is provided so as to be rotatable about the axis. A nut is screwed to the long bolt, and moved in the vertical direction of the vehicle according to rotation of the long bolt. A slider fitted to the shoulder anchor, is supported by the nut, and moves in the same direction as moving direction of the nut as the nut moves in the vertical direction of the vehicle so as to move the shoulder anchor in the vertical direction. An engaging apparatus is provided between a slider and the long bolt. Normally, the engaging apparatus is in a disengaged from the slider. When the vehicle rapidly decelerates, load applied to the shoulder anchor causes the nut to displace the slider in the vertical direction of the vehicle resulting in the engaging apparatus being in an engaged with the slider so as to prevent the slider from moving in the vertical direction of the vehicle.

摘要: Disclosed herein is an automatic seat belt system. A guide rail is mounted on a vehicle body, and a driving tape is disposed along the length of the guide rail. A drive means is energized to move a slider to either one of two positions where a webbing restrains an occupant or releases the occupant therefrom. One end of the webbing used for restraining the occupant is supported to the slider which is maintained in engagement with each of the openings defined in the tape. In addition, the slider is movable in the longitudinal direction of the guide rail, and disposed movably with respect to the guide rail. A stopper is maintained in engagement with the slider in the webbing-restraining position so as to prevent the slider from being moved in the direction to which the webbing is pulled. When the load in the upward direction of the vehicle is applied to the slider so as to move the slider upward, an engagement portion of the slider is brought into engagement with an end of the stopper in the lower direction of the vehicle so as to prevent the slider from being moved along the guide rail.

摘要: An automatic seat belt system in which a slider supported by a guide rail and adapted to be worn by a vehicle occupant is moved from a webbing-application canceling position to a webbing applying position so as to apply the webbing around the occupant. The automatic seat belt system includes a slider holding portion for retaining the slider at the webbing applying position and movable along the guide rail in the retaining state, and a lock pin for retaining the slider holding member onto a chassis by being inserted in a hole provided in the chassis and for setting the slider holding member in a movable state as the lock pin is pulled out of the hole. Also provided is a controller for moving the slider by a predetermined distance from the webbing applying position toward the webbing-application canceling position by reversely rotating the motor before the lock pin is pulled out of the hole. Accordingly, when the lock pin is pulled out of the hole, a large frictional force does not act between the lock pin and an inner peripheral portion of the hole.

摘要: An apparatus for driving an intermediate portion of a webbing for use in a seatbelt system for restraining an occupant of a vehicle by means of a webbing having one end accommodated in a webbing accommodating device through a biasing force is arranged to withdraw the webbing from the accommodating device in opposition to the biasing force. Accordingly, when an occupant is to apply the webbing to himself by withdrawing it from the accommodating device, the webbing can be withdrawn and applied with a small manual force.

摘要: A shoulder anchor height adjusting apparatus movably adjusts the height of a shoulder anchor. The shoulder anchor is attached to a slider, which is supported by a rail extending from the upper portion of the side wall of the vehicle in the vertical direction so as to be guided along the rail. Further, the slider moves in the vertical direction of the vehicle so as to move the shoulder anchor in a likewise direction. A long bolt is disposed between the slider and the rail and at the upper portion of the side wall of the vehicle. The long bolt has an axis in the vertical direction of the vehicle, and is provided so as to be rotatable about the axis. An elevator nut is screwed into the bolt, and is moved in the vertical direction of the vehicle by rotation of the bolt. An arm outwardly extends from the slider in the transverse direction of the vehicle, has a contact portion for contacting the elevator nut. The arm moves the slider in the vertical direction of the vehicle since the contact portion is pushed by the elevator nut as the elevator nut moves in the vertical direction.
