摘要： An optical remote control system includes a home appliance and a remote controller. The home appliance operates according to a user command and its housing includes an opening. A status indicator light and a reference light are disposed within the opening. The status indicator light includes a visible light source, and the reference light includes a plurality of infrared light sources. The visible light source and the infrared light sources are disposed in a predetermined pattern. The remote controller includes an optical sensor configured to detect optical signals from the infrared light sources, thereby generating the user command accordingly.

摘要： The present invention discloses a hybrid pointing device including an optical navigation module and a pointing module. The optical navigation module is configured to replace the conventional buttons of a convention pointing device, such as an optical mouse or a trackball mouse. The optical navigation module is configured to sense gestures of at least one object operated by a user to activate commands associated with particular programs running on the host. Since the optical navigation module is only configured to sense gestures of the object but not the movement of the hybrid pointing device relative to a surface, the resolution thereof is aimed to be sufficiently high enough for sensing gestures and no need to be relatively high.

摘要： The present invention discloses an optical touch panel system, an optical sensing module, and an operation method using for the same system. The system recognizes a track of an object moving on or above a touch control surface to determine a corresponding gesture function; it includes a touch control surface, at least one image sensor, and a processor. The touch control surface includes at least two touch control areas. The image sensor captures a plurality of continuous pictures including the images of the objects. The processer determines which touch control area the object is moving on or above according to a starting position or a path of the track, and executes a gesture function corresponding to the track and the touch control area.
