In a method for forming TDD MIMO downlink beams, a BS receives an index of a codebook element from a mobile terminal. The codebook element refers to a codebook element whose correlation value has a greatest modulus value among correlation values that are calculated by the mobile terminal and are about correlation between the codebook element and a channel corresponding to a non-transmitting antenna of the mobile terminal. The BS calculates a channel vector corresponding to the non-transmitting antenna of the mobile terminal. The BS calculates channel vectors of the transmitting antennas of the mobile terminal, and performs SVD to determine a best transmitting precoding matrix.

Disclosed herein is a system and method for downlink beamforming that takes into account imperfect channel state information (CSI) at the transmitter when determining the steering vector used in the beamforming process. The steering vector is calculated to increase the ratio of the average power of a desired signal component to the sum of the interference power of other wireless terminals, referred to as the signal-to-leakage ratio. By accounting for imperfect CSI when calculating the steering vector, the bit-error rate for a given signal-to-noise ratio is decreased. Also disclosed is a power allocation method that improves performance of the system by increasing the signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio for all of the wireless terminals currently communicating with the base station. The power allocation similarly decreases the bit-error rate for a given signal-to-noise ratio, especially at high signal-to-noise ratios.

The embodiments of the present invention provide a method for processing data in a network system, eNodeB and network system, relate to the field of communication technology, and is made in view of the problem of increasing of processing burden of a core network and interference aggravation due to decrease of radius of the cell. The method for processing data in a network system comprises: receiving data, using interference alignment or partially distributed space-time coding or network encoding technologies to coordinate and suppress interference of the data; identifying the characteristics of the data, classifying the data; and performing data bypassing on the data according to the classifications of the data. The present invention is applicable to the mobile communication technology.

A method, an apparatus, and a system for forming Time Division Duplex (TDD) Multi-Input Multi-Output (MIMO) downlink beams are disclosed herein. The method includes: generating a transmitting beam of a first data stream according to a Maximum Rate Transmission (MRT) criterion; and generating transmitting beams of other data streams except the first data stream, wherein the transmitting beams of other data streams are confined in a null space of the transmitting beam of the first data stream. Through the embodiments of the present invention, the Base Station obtains precise Partial Channel State Information by using only reciprocity without requiring feedback information, and thus the calculation is simplified and the rate of data streams is improved.
