The sheet amount indicator includes a viewing part disposed on an outer surface of the sheet stacking part, an indicator member configured to move as seen through the viewing part, a cooperative mechanism configured to move in accordance with a vertical movement of the base plate, and an amplifying mechanism disposed outside the sheet stacking part and connected to the cooperative mechanism so as to amplify the movement of the cooperative mechanism to transmit the amplified movement to the indicator member.

摘要： A sheet medium adjustment apparatus, e.g., in an image forming system, includes: an ejector to eject a conveyed sheet; a stacking device to stack each sheet ejected from the sheet ejector into a stack on a tray; a moving device to shift the stacking device in a movement direction perpendicular to a sheet-ejecting direction; a sheet aligning member to align ends of the sheets in the stack that are parallel to the sheet-ejecting direction; a stepping motor to move the sheet aligning member; and an evacuation device to evacuate the aligning member by an amount representing an evacuation displacement in the movement direction at a timing of aligning the sheet, the evacuation displacement being determined adaptively according to at least one of an attribute of a given sheet in the stack, an attribute of the stack as a whole and an attribute of the tray.

摘要： There is provided a sheet inverting and conveying mechanism for conveying a sheet in a first direction, inverting obverse and reverse sides of the sheet, and then conveying the inverted sheet in a second direction. The mechanism includes: a first conveyance section for receiving, at its conveyance face, one side of the sheet, and for conveying the sheet in the first direction (the direction of an arrow S); a sheet inverting section for receiving, at its bent inner peripheral face, one side of the sheet, and for inverting the sheet while bending the sheet along the bent inner peripheral face; and a second conveyance section for receiving, at its conveyance face, one side of the inverted sheet, and for conveying the sheet in the second direction (the direction of an arrow T), wherein the first conveyance section and the second conveyance section are formed so that the sheet is conveyed while being attracted to the conveyance faces.

摘要： A paper positioning device having a paper positioning member which is pivotable in abutment against one edge of a paper sheet loaded on a receptacle for moving the paper sheet to a positioning position for thereby positioning the paper sheet. By a simple mechanism and control, the movement of the paper positioning member is slowed down at the positioning position and accelerated until the positioning member reachines it. The paper positioning member performs a pivoting movement twice while a drive shaft associated therewith performs a reciprocating movement once. The device is, therefore, no only durable but also positions paper sheets efficiently and positively without damaging the paper sheets.

When the lag detected by the comparison circuit has exceeded a predetermined range, the counting operation of the sheet material is caused to stop thereby to use the detection value of the n th sheet material as a reference value for comparing it with the n th+ first sheet detection value.

摘要： For use in a rotary printing machine comprising at least one rotary drum, an image carrier medium having an image area to be printed on an image supporting material, and a printing ink supply unit, an ink detecting device which comprises a plurality of sensor rolls rotatably supported in series on a single fixed shaft in frictional contact with the printing drum through a layer of printing ink interposed between said sensor rolls and said printing drum a first means for separately detecting rotational speed of each sensor rolls, a second means for detecting rotational speed of the printing drum, and a control means for comparing the rotational speed of each sensor roll, under the influence of the slip between the sensor rolls and the printing drum, and corresponding reference values respectively indicative of rotational speed of each sensor roll measured under such a condition that optimum quantity of printing ink is applied on the outer periphery of the printing drum, and accordingly controlling said ink supplying means so as to replenish the printing ink onto corresponding portions of the outer periphery of the printing drum which correspond to some sensor rolls the rotational speed of which exceeds the corresponding reference values.

摘要： Provided is a sheet inverting apparatus wherein members, such as a roller, are not brought into contact with the printed surface of a sheet at all, and the occurrence of dirt can be prevented by eliminating friction of ink on the surface of the sheet. A first transport apparatus and a second transport apparatus each have a plurality of transport belts which move on transport tracks along sheet transport directions and a suction box which sucks the sheet on the transport belts through suction holes formed on the transport belts. A turn guide arranged between the first transport apparatus and the second transport apparatus has a plurality of guide ribs disposed between the transport belts. Each of the guide ribs coming into slidable contact with the sheet forms a curved inverting transfer surface from an inversion starting point side to an inversion end point side.
