摘要: The present invention provides an image display apparatus that includes a case having an air inlet port and an exhaust port; a cooling air passage that is formed by connecting the air inlet port and the exhaust port; and an optical unit that is provided within the case. The optical unit includes a red color laser light source, a green color laser light source, and a blue color laser light source, and these laser light sources are positioned in the cooling air passage. Further, the image display apparatus has an air blower that cools the laser light sources of the respective colors by introducing air from the air inlet port and exhausting air from the exhaust port; and a lens that is provided on the light-emitting side of the laser light sources. The red color laser light source is positioned closer to an upstream side of the cooling air passage than the green color laser light source and the blue color laser light source. With this, the temperature of the red color laser light source apparatus is not increased by a long period of use, and thereby image quality deterioration is prevented.

摘要: When a user instructs photographing by operating an operating unit, an image captured by an image sensor is stored as a photographed image in a memory. When a mode for performing color fading correction is set, the CPU instructs an image processing device to extract, from the photographed image, areas in which there are photographic print images which are supposed to bring about color fading. The image processing device generates a binary image by detecting edges of the photographed image, erases edges contacting an outermost edge of the photographed image, and extracts the areas based on the binary image from which some of the edges are erased.

摘要: The present invention provides a mechanical seal sliding member with high lubricating characteristics, in which the coefficient of friction and the temperature of sliding surfaces are lowered and stabilized without excessive leakage. In the mechanical seal sliding member of the present invention, on the sliding surface 2, a plurality of grating sections 5 are formed separately in each of which a plurality of linear shape ridge portions parallel to each other are formed in a predetermined region with a predetermined pitch. The linear shape ridge portions of the plurality of grating sections are formed as inclined at a predetermined angle to a sliding direction of the sliding surfaces 2. Such periodic structure can improve the lubricating characteristics for lubrication. By irradiating a linearly polarized femtosecond laser with irradiating energy adjacent to a process threshold level to a material surface, a fine periodic structure with a cycle interval comparable with a laser wavelength and with a ridge depth half or less than the laser wavelength can be formed by a self-structuring manner.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to obtain an image that is more similar to a real ink-wash painting. An ink-wash painting conversion unit 44 converts data of an original image into data of a painterly image. A characteristic region detection unit 42 detects a characteristic region of the original image from the data of the original image. A conversion unit 45 executes gradation processing of gradating the characteristic region detected by the characteristic region detection unit 42, and margin setting processing of setting a margin region to be added to the painterly image, as image processing of further converting the data of the painterly image that was converted by the ink-wash painting conversion unit 44.

摘要: The importance detection unit 52 detects importance of each pixel composing the original image thus acquired. In addition, the importance map generation unit 52 generates an importance map indicating distribution of the importance detected for each pixel. The characteristic region detection unit 61 detects a characteristic region of the original image, from the original image thus acquired. The determination unit 62 determines a brushstroke pattern that should be applied to the characteristic region thus detected, from at least two types of brushstroke patterns stored in a storage unit. The brushstroke pattern conversion unit 63 converts an image in the characteristic region into an image, to which the brushstroke pattern is applied, based on the brushstroke pattern thus determined. The adjustment unit 64 adjusts color of the image of the brushstroke pattern being the image in the characteristic region, based on the importance map thus generated.
