Abstract:
Using a common area sensor to build a high resolution electronic camera requires a large sensor chip with an incumbent high cost. Using a line sensor results in slow imaging and therefore limited applications. An electronic camera using a small sensor chip with high speed imaging is therefore provided. A two-dimensional imaging device that is narrower than an area sensor subscans the imaging plane of the lens system by means of a scanning device. The charge transfer register of the two-dimensional imaging device is driven by an X clock generator in the opposite direction and at the same speed as the subscanning speed, thereby achieving TDI operation and high speed image capturing.
Abstract:
The present invention is a data file apparatus in which input data files are assigned attribute information which is a clue to retrieval of the data files. Each data file is assigned an appropriate symbol to be displayed when assignment of a symbol as attribute information for the desired first data file displayed in the display means is selected, and each data file is assigned a keyword for when assignment of a keyword as attribute information for the desired second data file is selected. Accordingly data files may be easily registered and retrieved in accordance with attribute information thereof as either symbols or keywords.
Abstract:
This invention relates to a compact electro-acoustic transducer (10) to be used in the ear hole which prevents oppressive and inharmonious sensations to the auricle (A) when used and also prevents the deterioration of the reproduced sound quality. To do this, according to this invention, the electro-acoustic transducer (10) is formed of an outer casing (30) which houses therein an electro-acoustic transducer element (20), is shaped in size to be engagable with the concave portion of the auricle (A) and supported at least two points by one part of the auricle (A) when engaged with the concave portion of the auricle (A) and of a cord supporting member (50) extended from the outer casing (30) to be contact with the outer surface of the auricle (A) at a lower position than the respective supportion positions of the outer casing (30).
Abstract:

Abstract:
An image information file and retrieving apparatus and method wherein information of an image of at least one document having text information and non-text information is inputted and stored together with attribute information of a relationship of at least one of the text information and the non-text information of the at least one document. The stored image information is retrieved in accordance with a retrieval condition indicating a requested relationship between the text information and non-text information. More particularly, a fuzzy weighting function is utilized for retrieval.
Abstract:
Method for determining and correcting the amount of an skew of image which may be read by an image reader, preferably one with with an automatic paper feeding device. Information dependent on the angle of skew of image is obtained in a plurality of the directions with respect to image data and the amount of skew is determined based on the information obtained. Measurement of the information is performed in two or more stages (or steps). At the first stage, the measurement is performed within a narrow range of angles including a reference direction. If no skew angle is detected in the narrow range, then the measurement is performed again at the second stage in a wider range of angles. If a skew angle is detected in the first stage, the second stage is omitted. With the skew angle determined, the image data is rotated in accordance with the skew angle detected to cancel the skew. No correction of the image data is performed if skew angle detection does not result in either the first or the second stage. Preferably, correction of the image data is omitted if the detected skew angle falls within a very small range of angles.
Abstract:
An earphone comprising a housing formed on the outer periphery of the front face with a flange for preventing the housing from disengagement from the concha when the housing is received in a recess of the concha, said housing being sized to be received in the recess of the concha and having an electroacaustic transducer built in.
Abstract:
A drawing data obtained by a CAD device is extended once to an image data on a plane and the extended image data is coded and stored in an electronic file device so that every display can be done by merely reading data stored in the electronic file device, decoding and displaying it. The image data having a plurality of attributes is stored attribute by attribute so that the electronic file device can display only image having attribute or attributes instructed and it is possible to obtain only required image information among various informations contained in a complicated image and thus searching is facilitated.
Abstract:
A video signal and a horizontal synchronizing signal provided from a work station are delayed by a plurality of delay circuits having different delay amounts, and phase differences between a sampling clock signal and the delayed signals are detected. A clock generator generates two kinds of clock pulses having opposite phases and the same frequency. A clock selector selects one of the clock pulses as a sampling pulse signal in response to the phase differences. Further, a phase difference between the horizontal synchronizing signal and the video signal is detected so that the phase difference between the horizontal synchronizing signal and the video signal is maintained constant.
Abstract:
A recording intermediate belt 15 which is made endless so as to travels around a continuous path has image formation areas and non-image formation areas alternately provided on an outer surface thereof. Images of different colors are sequentially formed in the image formation areas by recording heads 21b through 23b respectively provided in first through third image formation sections 21 through 23. The recording heads 21b through 23b of the first through third image formation sections 21 through 23 are separated from each other by a distance which is greater than a length of an image formation area in a traveling direction of the recording intermediate belt 15. The recording heads 21b through 23b are each pressed onto the recording intermediate belt 15 in a non-image formation area immediately preceding an image formation area and starts an image formation operation. The image formation operation is stopped when the recording heads 21b through 23b each face a non-image formation area immediately subsequent to the image formation area. Thus, a clear full-color image can be formed with the image formed in each image formation section being free from color non-uniformity.
