摘要： A print system which are capable of inhibiting simultaneous use of the encrypted print and the box storage to thereby increase the security of print data. A host computer has an encryption function of encrypting print data, and issues a print job for the print data encrypted by the encryption function. A print server receives the issued print job, and has a decryption function of decrypting the encrypted print data of the received print job. A printer has a storage function of storing the print data decrypted by the decryption function, and outputs the stored print data. At least one of the host computer and the print server inhibits simultaneous use of the encryption function and the storage function.

摘要： Provided are an image processing apparatus and image processing method capable of processing image data as packet data, and compressing the image data in real time to a data amount within the storage capacity of a memory. Image data in the form of packet data is divided into a plurality of blocks by a block forming circuit (102), and compressed at a first compression ratio by a DCT circuit (104), quantizing circuit (105), and Huffman encoding circuit (106) for each block. A counter (108) measures the data amount of the compressed image data. If the measured data amount is equal to or larger than a predetermined value, the image data stored in a memory (112) is recompressed at a second compression ratio as a higher compression ratio by a Huffman decoding circuit (113), bit shifting circuit (114), and Huffman encoding circuit (115).

摘要： A print processing apparatus processes a print job that includes print data corresponding to a plurality of pages and first paper information relating to papers used in printing of the print data. The microprocessor unit sets second paper information relating to a paper stacking order of a paper stack including a plurality of types of papers placed in a mixed state in one paper feeding tray. Then, the microprocessor unit compares the first paper information with the second paper information. The microprocessor unit controls the printer based on an obtained comparison result so that the print data can be printed on a target paper on which the print data should be printed, and controls the printer based on the obtained comparison result so that any surplus paper other than papers that are necessary and sufficient can be separated from papers on which the print data has been printed.
